was turned into collection by alltell. They say i owe them $1,097 on a plan that was month to month?? For one, they wouldnt let you get 1 day past due before they disconnected service. for two, early termination fee is only $200. For 3, we bought the phones we had. we always had to call and cancel $9.99 a month subscriptions that we never subscribed to. I’ve tried disputing this but they dont listen. I just found out that they have had previous class action lawsuits filed on them for the same deal.

Receiving frequent dunning phone calls demanding payment for cell service. We don’t have Altel and never had. Solution was for me to call our service provider and have their number blocked. Bad outfit taking this matter up with senior management.

Last month I was billed 9.99 for airg messaging that I never signed up for. I called my cell phone provider they told me to contact airg which I didthey stopped but then this month charged me 3.99 for airg sports which i never signed up for. How can I stop this. They gave me a number to call which is in Canada I was holding for 6 mins. then was cut off. This call will cost me $$. How or what can I do to get alltel to stop billing me for something I never signed up for?. Thanks Stephanie

I keep getting a $3.99 charge via alltel for a service I have no idea about. They did agree to block the site but will not refund. 14 months plus and no justice. I think this is an alltel scam.

i keep being billed for quizs and other 9.99charges I don’t even know what the are. I have had a couple of the deleted. P.s> you have to pay them first then it is taken off you next bill. I keep getting them, and getting them , and getting them Why can’t they (Alltel) or any phone design a block to thise who want them. Come on geniouses you CAN do it

PS also when they credit the 3.99 on the front page of your bill than on the back part where they show the credit applied back and it doesn’t even add up to 3.99, it is less.

I got Alltel in Aug. First bill was correct since than I have been getting a charge for 3.99 for AIRG voice messaging. Every month since I am charged and have to have it recredited than it is charged and so on and so on. It is Jan and still going through this bs. They said we ordered it online and we never ordered anything. So this time the teck gave me AIRG voice messaging direct ph# to get it off for good for it is a third party from ALLTEL.1-604-408-2220. I am hoping it is off for good now if not I am thinking of shutting it off for it is not worth the hassle.

I had a charge for airg voice messaging on my cell bill last month for 3.99 I call because I did not order this . Alltell took it off and credited my account. I got the bill this month and a charge for 3. 99 same thing. I call and got credit for it again and they told me it was off my account.If i had called after the At&t phone was changed I would have been sol thats what the guy at Alltel told me. CHECK YOU STATEMENTS EVERY TIME PEOPLE> I they get everyone for a penny or two that alot of cash.

Well, sorry to say I just canceled my air card by opting for an early termination on my contract with Verizon because of the same (see above posts) problems… I have to pay a penalty of 200.00 because I still have one year left. I will save over 500.00 dollars doing this. I am using a different service now with no hassles. Too bad this couldn’t be resolved but you know if enough people would do the same it just might get someone’s attention after all…

For over a year now I’ve been getting charges for Divas Community and AirG…I see I’m not the only one…has anyone had any success gettin these charges removed permanently? I have to call Alltel every single month to get a credit back for these. They claim to have someone working on the issue but it’s getting ridiculous.

tell the alltel company and other companies that if don’t credit u will also write a review of how they weren’t responsive and willing to do anytihng on http://www.ripoffreport.com and once it’s posted there it can never be removed even if corrected or tell them if no refund u will go up and down in front of alltel stores on public streets lettting people know how rude they are u will get refund quick i know of a person who has done this with other companies and they didn’t want bad publicity so they fixed the problem asap

Well….. I’m still being billed twice each month from Divas Communities for over a year now, have called every month to have my account credited and resolved and I’ve gotten nowhere. Each month they credit my account and say they blocked it but somehow… the best part is that I have an “AIR CARD FOR THE INTERNET,” NOT A CELL PHONE!!! My “air card” is an old one and I can’t even use text feature on it, soooo… If it shows up on my bill next month they WILL loose me as a customer… I will find another way to use the internet… this is ridiculous!!!!

My current alltel bill and the ones before that had charges described as airg Divas-Messaging and airg Voice Messaging for $3.99 each. i talked to a store consultant and he told me to try support@airg.com but was unable to get on, i would appreciate if alltel can take those charges off of my bill. hopiung that they will never appear agin because i dont use it.Thanks again for your help.

I am in an area where alltel purchased from Cellular One. I had been a cell one customer for 10 plus years. I got a blackberry flip (nightmare) from them in February. Now, the trackball gave out. For like a month I have been asking them to at least grant me some internet service on my second phone. They just simply don’t care that I’ve been without service….just keep paying for the old phone…no resolution. One lady I called asked me if I took the phne apart b/c that would void the warranty. I haven’t done that, and wouldn’t be comfortable doing it. So NEXT…she asks me to take it apart…..hello?

I have an alltel prepaid phone, had it since January of ’09. I put $10 on my phone yesterday and got up this morning to a balance of -$.49. This is plain bull, I’m highly upset.The only thing I do on my phone is text and it’s unlimited, so it made absolutely no sense at all.I called Alltel and the guy gives me the # to AirG and said that they sent me a msg yesterday and I must have replied to it, they can clearly see that I didn’t! But they can’t refund my money because it’s a 3rd party.So I call the stupid AirG bs company and some guy tells me that they don’t give refunds.WTH can I do?? I asked for a supervisor/manager/boss…they act like they don’t know what I’m talking about. Idk what to do.I’m a single parent with limited funds, it might not seem like much, but hey, $10 adds up.

We had the same problem with being billed for Diva community, AirG and other services we did not subscribe to. After 6 months of arguing with customer service I was put in contact with Alltel tech support who had the ability to trace back where the charges originated and stop them. The gentleman in tech support actually saw that at no time had I downloaded or subscribed to any service other than basic phone service.It was a very frustrating 6 months, but in the end all charges were credited.
