I live in Spain and recently purchased a phone with payg Movistar simcard for my daughter. I paid for €50 credit, and was told this would be doubled as a special offer, giving €100 total. After a few weeks the credit had all but gone, so I contacted Movistar. They said this was a classic Mblox scam, and gave me a number to contact 9029314513. When I called, there was a recorded message offering no help whatsoever!

I got a quiz question and answered it. Next bill was £18.00 more than normal. The following month another £9.00 extra charges, before I finally managed to stop further texts. This was mblox on Virgin. I was told by Virgin taht they can do nothing to stop this as mblox are a provider. I asked why there ia no block we can put on a phone to stop being charged when we recieve texts. This must be a load of rubbish, how can anyone charge us when they send a text, I always believed that I only paid for texts that I have sent and calls that I have made. No one should ever have to pay for a text that they have recieved.

My 12 year old daughter's mobile number was contacted by Mblox and was charged £0.12 per minute to a total of £90. The phone was locked and Virgin said to email eblox which did not work - I had to pay the £90 to unlock and then text stop. This should not be allowed, has anyone ever got anything refunded as it was £90 for absolutely nothing ??

I got my mobile today and noticed an extra $30 which was for SMS messages I never ordered and never received! When I rang OPTUS to inquire about it they told me I still had to pay the bill but they would inform me of who had sent me the messages! That was big of them. They said it was M BOX and gave me the number 1800 55 4502. When I tried ringing that number I was put on hold while a recorded message tole me I would be answered in UK working hours! As I have no idea how much that would have cost and no idea what the outcome of my complaint would have been I hung up. Instead I googled M BOX and then eventually got onto this page! Obviously I'm not the first person this mob have STOLEN money from and probably not the last. I find it outrageous that some bogus company can simply bill a persons mobile number for an unsent message! I find it more outrageous the OPTUS obviously are aware of the practice, still bill the poor customer and flick the whole problem onto them! A huge network like OPTUS could put a stop to these thieves if they wanted to! I have now texted the word STOP to the reference number on my bill but don't know if this has actually worked. When I cleared my phone screen after sending that message, the word RUN came up. What the ......?

I recently noticed that my monthly AT&T bill went from $119.98 a month to $129.97 a month. I went down to my local AT&T store and they told me there was an Mblok application I had downloaded on my phone. I have an iPhone, I have no reason to download anything. They edited my bill for this month removing it. I then looked back and noticed it had been on my bill for two other months. I called AT&T and the woman on the phone had no clue what it was... it was then I googled this company and found this blog... I am happy to inform you that AT&T refunded me the charges AND recommended I put a block on this stuff, so I did. I will call them and give them a piece of my mind now!

It won't help to leave a message here saying, "Take this off my bill," or, "Cancel Flycell."
Go to- http://www.flycell.com/learn-more/unsubscribe
- and find the amount in cash that they have been charging you. Follow the instructions.I didn't know which package I was subscribed to, so I text STOP+"the key word(s)" of every single one to 69999. I also called customer support and talked to a real person who was very helpful. He confirmed that I had canceled my account. If you don't have texting on your phone, CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE! I talked to a real person so can you with just your phone number that's being charged and the type of phone you have, for example Samsung. Hope this helps! I did exactly what I wrote above and now I am no longer being charged for $19.99 a month for the Unlimited ClubPack. The all this crap happened to me was a downloaded 10 credits worth of "free stuff", but what I didn't know is that it signed me up for a renewing 20 dollar a month service... Oh well, 60 bucks down the drain. Again, I hope this helps some of you guys.

Interesting thing. I do NOT have texting one my phone, yet they claim I texted for this service, and should rext them to stop it. Crazy huh?

AT&T gave me credit.

This is a first class scam, and IMO AT&T is in on it for agreeing to collect on their behalf, even though they claim it is beyond their control. Bull

If you still receive any messages... call your service provider (AT&T, Verizon, etc) and tell them. However, after replying with one of those words, it should stop right away.

Verizon is my provider. Somehow this MBLOX POS company has VZ wireless believing that they are a real service provider. Am being told by VZ Wireless that I need to go through the POS SCAMMING COmpany to get a refund. Going to file a small claims suit against Jessica
