    STOP SENDING ME DAILY HOROSCOPES

  14. shane says:

This happened to us too. Out of nowhere they started sending worthless jokes and charging bogus fees to our account. I called Verizon and they didn’t care — said we must have signed up for it without realizing. Verizon refused to credit the charges. This outfit is a scam and I can’t BELIEVE they are allowed to continue operations.

  15. David or Cherie Sneed says:

I don’t know who order the ringtones in our household but we don’t need them and I want the ringtones cancel 19.99 a month is too much. thank you

  16. Jan says:

    I have a question:
My brother entered his number in there. But he claims, that he never entered his PIN. Nevertheless, his credit was soon sucked by those bastards. Haw could they do it without his PIN?

  17. Phyllis Mitchell says:

I signed up for 500 free jokes. They did send some, text messaging these. Clean ones for the most part, juvenille. However, the deal was to receive the 500 free, prior to being invoiced for the $9.99 monthly charge, as a trial offer. I did not receive the full 500 nor anything like this before they charged me, around $9.99 a quarter, not a month. So, I tried to send the text to STOP these and got a return message that I am not a subcriber to “funmobile daily jokes”.

  19. Aidan says:

One evening i just decided to look for ring tones, its so long ago now that i can barely remember what i did but i think it was sending them my number for free ringtones. They kept sending me messages saying i could get more and more tones. Today i got a message saying i was subscribed to funmobile polytones club for 4.5 euro a week. I rang them and its in a foreign language. Has anyone any suggestions how i cancel, when i log onto the website and enter my number it says i dont have a valid number.

  20. jimmy says:

this still dosent help me with my problem i still need to find out how to unsubscribe to ringtoneviva.com

  21. francesca says:

I did not subscribe take me off what ever this is if I receive any charges for this I will take action

  22. charles says:

  23. Zee says:

I cancelled my subscription 2 weeks ago and funmobile still deducts every week. When I cancelled again today I was informed that I’m not subscribed. What the hell is this. This is FRAUD!!! So P off!!! What am I to do to stop these bastards??

  24. John says:

My son just notified me that he may have accepted some sort of daily text to my phone that I will be charged for. 34. Jim Ewers says:

I’ve been receiving these stupid texts for almost 3 weeks now. I remember Answering questions on a pop-up, during a survey I was taking. Ever since I get these texts. Only today did I realze I was being charged $4.99 a month. I just texted stop and received a text saying I would get no more. I guess these sites get you even when your looking for the BS.

  35. menito says:

i better not see these charges on my phone bill

  36. menito says:

i just did this iq quiz and it tricked me to subscribing

  37. Barb Cavendish says:

Did an IQ test and then discovered that every day it sends an “IQ question” text message for which it charges me 2o cents a day

  38. Rick Gregory says:

What B.S. take a simple I.Q. test and I lost over 50.00 on my go phone! Tell me how to get my money back!! I didnt even use their service! Thats theft!!

  39. noproblem says:

I never sign up up and never make tests.
    I’m never charged.
    It seems people are stupid.
Do you think everything is free????
Read the terms and don’t be folish.
Children are given cell phones and it’s the parents responsibilty if they sign up.
You can’t be charged for those services if you only use your phone for it’s main purpose.
It seems the IQ level is very low.

  40. Michael says:

I received an IM from a friend that told me to check out a video on YouTube. I get there, and there is a message that says the video may be for a mature audience, and that they verify age via cell phone #. They asked for my number and cell carrier. They then text me a pin #, which i was supposed to input into the YouTube-looking site. After I do that, nothing happens. A minute later i get a text message saying thanks for subscribing to mobilefunster for 9.95 a month. I just sent them an email to see if they will reverse the initial charges. if they do not, i will take it up with my carrier.

  41. Alan says:

I just went through the same thing as Michael. Bogus text from friend. Typed in phone number, received text. Tried to unsubscribe to the Polytones club as listed above and received a response that i am not subscribed. So i’m not sure if that worked.

  42. Michael says:

Hey Alan – i emailed the care@ email address listed in the text messages and had a fe exchanges with a guy named Alex Phoon, who at first refused to refund me the initial 9.95 charged and then finally agreed to via paypal or check. So hopefully that will all come through as promised. in the meantime i will still be reporting these hucksters to the online BBB: http://www.bbb.org/online/

This is the kind of stuff that really sucks about the internet. A few really bad apples….

  43. Earl says:

Mobile funster is evil and duplicitous. They hacked into a friend’s IM account, spammed everyone on her buddy list telling them to enter their phone number into a youtube video. Then everyone who entered their number was fraudulently charged $9.99 on their phone bill. This company is criminal!

  44. Meredith says:

this shit just happened to my grandmother. i called them, they claimed they were located in AUSTRALIA of all places, REFUSED to get me to a supervisor, because they do not give refunds, and FINALLY when i got a hold of a supervisor, he let me know that they DO in fact give refunds but he was not going to give me one because he didn’t want to and i should have called sooner when my grandma first signed up. i explained she never signed up for this and they said well obviously she did. i said well no, she didn’t and i want a full refund. i went back and forth with this fucking idiot for 45 minutes and he CLAIMS he will send her a check for the full amount. these bastards need to get the shit sued out of them and we all need to be HUGELY compensated!!!

  45. Coral says:

I dont know HOW this stupid cell phone company got my number but i want the money taken off my cell phone credited IMMIDIATLY!!! my father is a lawyer and this is completely illegal! i want a response in 12 hours the me or else i WILL take action further!!!!

  46. Coral says:

GUYS i have emailed Carte Blanche to investigate!!! send me your email addresses to if anything comes about then i will show them JUST how many people cannot wait to take this service DOWN!

  47. JK says:

Just saw a $9.99 charge popup on spouse’s account. She says she didn’t authorize anything but I think she might have done the IQ test online that people are subscribing. I am calling Cingular tomorrow as it appears there is a recurring fee they are going to charge. If they refuse and take the old 3rd party excuse… I will payoff my Cingular bill and get service elsewhere.

  48. J-Me says:

I got charged $9.99 today for a ringtone and wallpaper thing that I never signed up for. I called to have it cancled and the guy that I talked to said that he could not give me my money back and told me to use up all the ringtones and then text stop to 22643. I thought this might help some of you but you are right on here we should sue the damn place. This is bull SH*T. Where do they think they get off buy doing this? This is a new number too and I am going to bet I am going to have to shut it off and get a new one. If I see this on my phone next month I will sue.

  49. ash ash says:

I did not sign up 4 dis and i dont know how dey got my number but dey took ten dollars off my account so i need to get some ringtones or theres going to be a problem.

  50. Carol Bethea says:

Please stop sending texts. It costs me $9.99 every time

  51. Tay says:

I did not sign up for this and I got a text from this website and it took 9.99$ off of my phone I would like to be refunded

  52. Ben says:

I understand from AT&T that someone browsing online may be requested to answer a survey. If they enter your cellphone number and you will be charged. You must call your provider and tell them to cancel, block and then refund the charges.

  53. Tom says:

The Funmodile/MobileFu is still charging my phones and robbing my money. What is registration # of this company? Who sued this company? any result?

  54. Angel says:

I to am being billed for something that i did not order I am pissed and it better stop!!

  55. Rob says:

I use Sprint and this charge showed up on my wife’s cell phone bill. Luckily Sprint was quick to refund the money and block the service from starting again on that or any other line on my plan. It really pissed me off that this company was able to start sending me a bill even though we never agreed (or in this case even knew about) anything.

When I talked the Sprint representative I asked if there was a way to block this from happening again and she told me that if I do that then the only place I can get ringtones from is the Sprint web-page which is fine with me. If you don’t mind being restricted to the Spring store for your ringtones this can be a good way to have peace of mind that shady companies wont be sending you unexpected bills.

  56. Wyn says:

I recieved a bill from my Cell phone company for almost $300 for services i new nothing about on a phone that doesn’t even have internet access. When I call the provider i have to give a password and answer a secret question but you will let someone bill my phone with no proof, PLEASE!!!
