These damn charges just started showing up on my bill. called and they said we subscribed to them. Never did that. they said we must have put in our pin number and that is how we subscribed. Don’t even know what the pin is, so how could we subscribe. I want these charges stopped immediately! I called and they said it was now canceled, I better not get any more charges or someone is getting sued!

they scammed me for $29.97. how many complaints will it take to run them out of business? why does it continue since 2007?
I plan to file with CA Attorney General. Someone please stop the scam.

Unauthorized charges totaling $20.00 CAD over January 2010 from Triviafuntime, a subsidiary of Funmobile. Txt ‘STOP’ to 23000 for Triviafuntime. Good luck to all who got scammed by this company!

i am glad to hear that i am not the only one out there that is having a problem. reading the coments have been helpful. yes i am having a lot of probs to. i am contacting a lawyer and i hope these peoople get shut down!!!!!

T Mobile put a free content block from 3rd parties on my mobile # and credited my $9.99; they said if you put your mobile # on any website, you could get scammed.

I was doing jobs on Mechanical Turk and one of them was for MobileFunster – I didn’t even finish the task because I thought there was something fishy about it but nonetheless got charged $10.80.

Sent STOP to short code and received msg I’d no longer get billed but these people are thieves. Avoid and watch out for bad mechanical turk tasks!

I suddenly received my AT&T cell phone bill and it had a $19.99 charge for Mobile Funster.com.
I contacteded At&T to find out what this was for and they told me that I have suscribed to this account. I notified them that I had not done this and that it was never authorized by me. It was illegally placed on my phone and I wanted it stopped immediately. I was instructed to go to http://www.att.com/db and request a pin, this let me onto a page that allowed me to request a refund for the charge. then i had a blocker put on my phone so that i would be notified if this happened again. If i add any apps are game to my phone it ask for my pin. I hope this works.

I to have 159.80 8 months worth of charges thru this company. I called my carrier and was able to get a credit. This company should be outlawed. It is a scam and takes advantage of people. I did say My hubby and I were ready to switch carriers which may have helped get my credit.

I was charged $9.99 twice on my October invoice. I spoke to a woman who would not help me other than to say someone used my # but they do not track down the actual phone subscriber, they just charge the wireless company linked to the phone. She then put her “supervisor” named Shaun on the phone who said they would refund only one of the charges after much insistence on my part. I told him I wanted a full refund and he refused. I asked to speak to his manager. He would not give me the manager’s name. I called Kevin Spector (number given a few posts up) and left a voicemail. I do not want funmobile’s service. I did not authorize charges to my account. I want a full refund, Kevin Spector.
