I did not subscribe to your service. Stop it immediately on Sprint # 330-268-4618. I refuse to pay that portion of my bill, and will cancel my Sprint account if it appears on the bill again. Sprint already knows this fact and is not happy at all!

When I first joined Sprint, 2 years ago, I had to have this service stopped. I also had text messaging turned off on the phone. Recently my phone was lost so I purchased a new phone. All of the sudden text messaging is back on and the service is back. I never authorized it!!! I just replaced my phone so I could continue to use the phone service. Sounds very shady to me and puts Sprint in a very bad light. I do not use text messaging and wish not to receive any text messages.
September 14th, 2007 at 2:21 pm
I got billed for this service that I never hear of. It is a scam!
September 18th, 2007 at 12:14 am
I just had to call Sprint and have this removed as it was added without my autohorization. Sprint was very helpful yet not happy.
September 18th, 2007 at 3:26 pm
One day I just started getting these texts from enmob 26706 about movies. I never signed up for anything nor do I give my number to anyone who I don’t know. I was charged $9.99 on my last bill and Alltel said they couldn’t do anything about it and refused to help me. I had already texted back stop and now tried to call 1-888-648-9524 to get ahold of someone from enmob, but it was just a voice mail telling me to go to a website. I’ve reported this to the FCC. It’s the only way we can get something done about this. Oh and put your number on the national do not call list. You can do that at the FCC Website.
September 25th, 2007 at 8:18 pm
I got a message on my phone saying i subscribed to this service , which wasn’t true, It says to cancel to text stop to 26706, I tried several times but kept getting a message it was an invalid number,, very frustrating, I realy dont have time for this junk, why is it alowed?
September 26th, 2007 at 3:48 pm
I just spoke with my carrier Sprint. I had an unknown charge of 9.99 for “premier services?” What the freak??? At first I thought to my self…..is this for accepting picture mail. The sprint rep almost let it pass. I asked her what the premier service does? She said it was a 3rd party company called Nevis Mobile. Ahhh hah! I remember getting a wierd text message about a month ago asking me to subscribe to movies. It even offered me a way out…”just text back deny (or something)” and I did that. But here I see a month later, I am charged on my bill. Nevis is lucky that they don’t answer their phone…I really want to tell these people off!!! Thankfully Sprint took the charge off my bill…they were awesome! and by the way I have to turn off premier services..Why should we have to do this???? This company, Nevis Mobile, is crazy!!! I can’t believe they can do this…its out of control! I hope something can be done. I really feel bad for “busy” people who pay their bills without going through them. Just imagine how many people are being charged out there and don’t even know it…GET THE WORD OUT PEOPLE!
September 27th, 2007 at 2:00 am
Ihave also had this so called movie ads from 26706 and then got the billings for something I never subscribed to.
These offshore phone companies have tied into US carriers via the “third party charge” system that has been in use for years.
This should be discontinued to stop the spamming bills sent by these offshore carries which are mainly in the Caribbean.
Get to these websites and maybe you can find a way to stop them.
Use the words “stop, quit, opt out, cancel, unsubscribe” in a reply text message the next time you receive an unwanted text.
September 28th, 2007 at 12:31 am
EnMob Nevis Mobile. unauthorized subscription for $9.99. I’ve gotten credit from Sprint but I tried calling and texting and both seem to be a waste of time. Texting results in an error message saying the code is invalid number. Customer service number is bogus because at no matter what time you call, you still get the recorded message saying that they’re too busy to answer and you should go to their website for help. I’ve cancelled all messagingto that phone line so I’m hoping that somehow all messaging and billing associated with EnMob will stop.
September 30th, 2007 at 5:59 pm
Please stop texting my mobile sprint phone (678) 523-6805. I don’w who you people are and I don’t want you to text me anymore..
October 2nd, 2007 at 2:37 pm
I have been receiving text messages almost daily for the past few weeks. I can’t even delete them without reading them because when I open my phone, the message is already displayed. I often get 2 or 3 messages in a row. I never text anyone, and I never signed up for any kind of service. I am being billed 15 cents for each message, plus now the $9.99 for the “premium service.” I asked Sprint about blocking the number, and they said they can’t. I plan on calling them again tomorrow, now that I have my bill, and asking again to have it blocked, and have the charges removed. I’ve called the nevis mobile number, and you get a message saying to leave them a message (at 1:30 am they have “higher than normal call volume?”). And their website wants your phone number to be entered (I’m not giving it to them again!).
October 4th, 2007 at 5:57 am
Got a text from EnMob.com with a pin code I supposedly had to enter, which I never did. Texted back Stop. The service stopped, then resumed the next day. I texted back Stop again, and the same exact thing happened again. I sent an e-mail to customer support and my subscription has yet to be canceled. Will call verizon and tell them to cancel the charges. If they don’t, I;m going to sprint. Seems like they know how to handle these things.
October 31st, 2007 at 10:42 am
My story sounds like everyone else’s! I get a text saying “thanks for subscribing” and then “text STOP if you don’t want this service”. Since I didn’t check my messages right away and therefore hadn’t sent “STOP” to the number, they then sent two more texts saying “You have subscribed….” and then other was something about a new Steve Martin movie coming out. Now here is what I don’t get…how can they charge my cell provider and why aren’t companies like Verizon and Sprint questioning these charges?
November 7th, 2007 at 7:54 pm
I ALSO RECEIVED THE TEXT MESSAGE. I DIDN’T ANSWER, INSTEAD I CHECK ONLINE AND CALL SPRINT TO BLOCK THEM FROM MY PHONE. AND TO BE SURE THEY MAKE A NOTE IN MY ACCOUNT. I RECOMEND THAT UNTIL WE FIGURE OUT WHAT IS GOING ON.
November 13th, 2007 at 1:37 am
same thing just happened to my girlfriend…Sprint passing off charges from Nevis…same text msg string…same didn’t subscribe at all but still getting billed…her phone call at Sprint ended up with blocking all text msgs but the crazy woman at Sprint needs to read this website—she INSISTED that my girlfriend absolutely had to have subscribed on purpose…that there’s no other way it can happen…B as in B, S as in S…
November 17th, 2007 at 1:48 am
I received chgs on my sprint bill from this company and have reported them to the fcc for cramming/wireless fraud and ask that all charges be removed from my account and text messaging blocked
December 4th, 2007 at 4:34 am
im so upset about this.i recenty fond out today about this, nevis mobile alerts.my carrier, sprint, said they had no control over their billing, nad to contact them.this does sound like a scam.its nice to see that im not alone in this.
December 9th, 2007 at 9:23 pm
This was the email I sent to their ”
customer service after phone messages went unanswered for a week: What kind of company are you that you bill someone for services because I didn’t refuse them? Anyone remember class action suits years ago where credit card companies sent out cards to people without their approval? The credit card companies ended up eating that bill. If you are in fact a legitimate company, then I would respectfully request you refund my premium as I never subscribed to your service. If you are what you appear to be then I won’t hold my breath waiting for anyone with half a F_ing brain to call me back. By the way, if you are a legit company, why is it so difficult to find you. You offer an 800 number, which rolls to voicemail, calls aren’t returned, no physical address, etc. Sounds like a BS company to me, if not then return my email, preferably with a actual working telephone number and a physical address.
December 12th, 2007 at 5:42 pm
I have been charged $9.99/month for a service I never requested (to my knowledge). This is an outrage, and ultimately I find Sprint responsible- they are in bed with this company. Isn’t it interesting that Nevis Mobile never answers the phone? I am going to try and get Sprint to reimburse for these charges- may be unrealistic, but worth a shot.
January 25th, 2008 at 10:41 pm
I did not want the text messages. Please stop them NOW!!!
February 3rd, 2008 at 8:21 pm
nevis moblie billed my girls phone 3 time att/cingular said it was out fault in response to a text. their phones can’t recieve text then they said it was pre existing accts they have nothing to do with this att is giving me back the 53 dollars but said it is our fault, what a scam
February 4th, 2008 at 6:25 pm
I also have been receiving these texts from this supposed company. I contacted my cell phone provider and they said they would have to investigate it before they would reverse any charges. This is really getting frustrating dealing with the text spamming going on.
February 4th, 2008 at 2:39 pm
HOLLY WROTE: “One day I just started getting these texts from enmob 26706 about movies. I never signed up for anything nor do I give my number to anyone who I don’t know. Make this STOP please!!
February 15th, 2008 at 11:18 pm
Cancel this SERVICE!!!!!!! I did not subscribe, I do not like it and I don’t appreciate paying for unauthorized text messages!!!!!!!!! This is ashame and ridiculous
February 20th, 2008 at 9:54 pm
I just signed up for a air card from Sprint and just recieved my first bill from them with these charges from Nevis $9.99 and 21 text msg after calling Sprint and taking over an hour to get the charges removed and having my new number changed which I hope will take care of the problem. But after reading some of these complaints I think I will be making more calls to Sprint in the future.
February 22nd, 2008 at 8:58 pm
What a surprise this month to see the $9.99 charge on my bill for something I had not only never signed up for, but never even heard of. I too, will contact the FAA. I had the charges removed from my Sprint bill, sent the “Stop” text message (and received a confirmation from them) but I also blocked all text messaging, because I’m not taking any chances. But this company needs to be STOPPED!!!
February 28th, 2008 at 11:56 pm
All of the stories above tell my story also. I began receiving unauthorized ‘Movie’ text messages from 27606 the day after I got my new phone. I repeatedly replyed “STOP” as it says to do on the enmob site. I couldn’t do that until after they had billed me 9.99 because no contact information showed up on the texts until the billing text. After 2 calls (to voicemail), 6 “stop” texts and 2 emails I was unsubscribed after threatening legal action. I still haven’t been fully refunded though.

I began receiving the annoying messages from 26706 the last weekend in August 2007. I contacted AT&T and had them put a stop and refund my account, since I never authorized whatever the heck 26706 is. I was told to send a reply of “STOP” and yet this has not helped. I did however have AT&T put a block on my families phones so that no other third party could try this same poor trick again.
March 5th, 2008 at 6:58 pm
End my subscription. I never subscribed to it to begin with. I don’t want to be charged for this. On U.S. Cellular #
March 6th, 2008 at 4:28 pm
My story is much like everyone elses! I do have one question, how can Verizon accept this? I think that by doing so, they become co-consipitors in a scam to rip us off! D*** this is annoying! It becomes a enless loop of unsatifying encounters!
March 25th, 2008 at 4:28 pm
Can anyone please tell me the number where I can text STOP to. When I try 26706 it says message failed.
March 26th, 2008 at 9:43 pm
BB, texting STOP doesn’t work at all. I finally got them to stop by sending the company an email and calling them. Don’t call though because it’s long distance.

I have a Sprint mobile broadband device, no screen, nothing to view, and these charges just started popping up.
April 30th, 2008 at 9:10 am
Same story as all the above. Our carrier GCI says they can’t do anything. We had a block on the text messaging put on the phone, and still get the same 9.99 charge every month. We cancelled our cell phone service since we couldn’t get any help. These people need to be stopped!!
June 2nd, 2008 at 10:18 am
On 6/3/08 I received two TXT messages from EnMob on my phone. Both were unsolicited. This company is a phone spammer! I talked to a Verizon operator and she said to reply to the mesage with STOP or CANCEL and if that does not work to call 888-648-9525 (supposedly the company’s telephone number). I will be keeping an eagle eye on my bill though. They should not be able to charge you for something you didn’t ask for. Sending unsolicited messages is a crime. The Government should crack down on these people!
June 3rd, 2008 at 2:29 pm
i hate this!! i have cincinnati bell and some dumb hip hop things have been popping up which i didnt sign up for… LAME PLEASE HELP i have tried saying stop quit opt out all that stuff. nothing works
June 5th, 2008 at 11:57 am
My story pretty much the same as everyone else I just started getting these texts about a week or so ago and I didnt subscribe to their website and was charged for it on my bill needless to say I am not very happy.
June 5th, 2008 at 1:10 pm
I can’t believe this Nevis Mobile is still getting away with this nearly 9 months later. I haven’t been billed yet, but am recieving text alerts from these priçks. Fortunetly I had USCellular put a block on Premium Text Messenging services, as well as a note on my acct such that, if I do get billed the $9.99, that my acct will be credited back that $9.99. And that once Nevis attempts to charge me, that USCC can move from there on taking actions against Nevis Mobile. W/o Billing information, USCC cannot do anything until then, with the exception of the preimium texting block and the note on my acct profile.
Good luck to all I guess…
June 5th, 2008 at 4:02 pm
One more thing, I have filed complaint against Enmob at the BBB. I suggeset everyone else here does this as well.
June 5th, 2008 at 4:51 pm
I read my recent AT&T phone bill and saw that on my wireless internet serviceI was being charged $9.99 a month for the Nevis Mobile [dba m-qube], which I never signed up for. AT&T gave me a refund and stopped the service. STAY ALERT !!!!
June 12th, 2008 at 2:02 pm
Besides Nevis watch out for Flycell, dba Mblox. Again, the same thing as with Nevis, and AT&T refunded me and stopped the service on my cell phone. For more info see post #42. BE AWARE !!!
June 12th, 2008 at 2:07 pm
Flycell, Logia, and Thumbplay all have charged my minor son’s cell phone account. They scam kids by text messaging them about free ringtone downloads, and of course, kids will view the unsolicited text messages out of curiosity. On numerous ocassions I’ve complained to Sprint and asked them to put blocks on the phone but I’m still having a problem. Flycell will not refund monies paid to Sprint on their behalf because the phone owner is ultimately responsible for the subscription. They acknowledged that no downloads were ever obtained through my phone, but it doesn’t matter because it’s a subscription service. Sprint has offered yet again block the ringtones and issued a credit for the Logia charges. I’m expecting a refund from Thumbplay, but that will take 14 days, so it’s wait and see.
June 12th, 2008 at 9:12 pm
I’m so disgusted that I enter Flycell as my name. See message #44
June 12th, 2008 at 9:13 pm
Update, (from Msgs 40-41), My phone bill became available for viewing today, and there were no additional charges from Nevis|Enmob. Though there was a $0.50 additional charge for either calling a toll-free number, lol (Nevis’ supposed 888-#) or the international phone call I made to Nevis, not clear on which one it was.
W/e, That ain’t no biggie.
The odd thing is that I am still getting spam texts, once again, no biggie, USCC Unlimited Text-Me msgs ftw!!!!
Anyway, I’ll maintain updates, since I am still leary about it, I’m betting Nevis is waiting till July’s phone bill. I’ll let ya’ll know then.
June 17th, 2008 at 4:11 pm
I got the same 9.99 charges on one of my line too. I call AT&T and they are helpful enough to credit back the charge…..in the next billing cycle or two. Let’s see what happen.
In the meantime I left a nasty $h*t voicemail to those mofos
July 4th, 2008 at 3:45 am
I’m get texts from this place to but i live in canada and im with telus. And its new for rappers and celebs and stuff
July 12th, 2008 at 4:24 pm
I’m getting texts from this place and i live in canada and my phone company is telus. the texts are alway about rapper and celebs.
July 12th, 2008 at 4:25 pm
I started getting texts from 26706 on 07/14/08 saying I subscribed to “HipHop” updates from enmob.com at $9.99 a month, which I NEVER did. I texted back “stop” ; then I received a message on 07/16/08 saying I resumed my subscription (a subscription I NEVER signed up for!) and again, I texted back “stop”. Today, 07/18/08 the same thing happened; I texted back “stop” AGAIN, emailed the enmob website requesting they immediately cease from sending harassing text messages that I never signed up AND I called my carrier (Sprint) to remove any/all charges. Sprint have put a block against any further text messages from this company and assured me that I will not incur any charges for this subscription service that I never signed up for to begin with.
July 18th, 2008 at 4:36 pm
It happened to me too. I have been getting unauthorized text messages from them and they keep resubscribing me to their service. I have not received my bill yet so I don’t know if I have been charged yet. It’s insane that this is allowed to happen.
July 20th, 2008 at 8:33 pm
Update.
Second Month, still receiving Text Alerts. Still have not been billed yet, though.
So, idk, I been emailing my providor’s customer support, and the last one I got from them was a guarentee, pretty much, that I will not be getting billed for this unauthorized service, since I have a Premium Content Block on my Phone.
We’ll find out.
July 21st, 2008 at 2:49 pm
Had this happen from the 18th of this month. Called up AT&T the company did charge me $9.99 and AT&T have reversed the charges. This is reminiscent of slamming that used to happen to land line phones with switching carriers. now its bogus premium services..
The AT&T rep said they cant stop this happening but are more than happy to refund the charges
July 21st, 2008 at 3:59 pm
I’m the same as Kat:
I started getting texts from 26706 on 07/14/08 saying I subscribed to “HipHop” updates from enmob.com at $9.99 a month, which I NEVER did. I texted back “stop” ; then I received a message on 07/16/08 saying I resumed my subscription (a subscription I NEVER signed up for!) and again, I texted back “stop”. Today, 07/18/08 the same thing happened; I texted back “stop” AGAIN, emailed the enmob website requesting they immediately cease from sending harassing text messages that I never signed up AND I called my carrier (AT&T) to remove any/all charges. AT&T have put a block against any further text messages from this company and assured me that I will not incur any charges for this subscription service that I never signed up for to begin with. I’m still getting the text messages, but AT&T tells me today that it will stop after the new billing date. Sadly, they wouldn’t refund my text messages. I’ve spent half my text message allotment just dealing with this. I have not interest in HipHop and makes it even more annoying to be interrupted by these random text messages.
July 24th, 2008 at 12:14 am
I just recieved my 1st bill and i have inquired a charge for 9.99 and i will appreciate it if nevis will stop charging me.
July 26th, 2008 at 3:06 pm
if you call 866-784-7712 and put in you cell or wireless card number you will be asked do you want to unscribe from service and charges will stop. i received this telephone number from verizon. i called verizon complaining about not signing up for this service and was given this # in addition a credit for these bogus charges
hope this helps all
joe
July 29th, 2008 at 8:15 am
Download charges on my phone for last three months that I didn’t authorize.
July 29th, 2008 at 12:39 pm
I am unsure as to how these jerks got my number but I have been charged $9.99 by my carrier for a subscription that I didn’t sign up for and requested be stopped as soon as I got the first text. If I am not refunded my money in 30 days, I too will be joining the class action suit against this bogus company. And for them to provide a 888-648-9524 number for me to leave a message … real professional. Cowards!
July 31st, 2008 at 7:40 am
I went online to pay my phone bill, when i look through the charges, i found that i had been charged $9.99 for something i hadn’t subscribed to. I would appreciate if you would stop!!!
August 9th, 2008 at 12:26 am
I received a $9.99 charge on my Spring bill for a Nevis “third part provider” premium text charge and Sprint refuses to take it off my account stating that they receive this complaint all the time and they are unable to credit my account. They informed me that I would have to wait for a credit from Nevis directly which would take up to 2 billing cycles and is not a guarantee. This is ridiculous and I am very disappointed in Sprint. Furthermore, I never signed up for the Nevis service and repeatedly texted STOP every time they texted me. I also went on their website and posted 2 comments to their website person and never received a response back but instead received a charge on my bill. How can I get rid of my charge?
August 19th, 2008 at 9:28 am
I got the 9.99 charge on my data card number on sprint.. I dont even know how to send a txt msg from my data card nor did I receive any txt msg from there.
August 20th, 2008 at 1:11 am
As of today, i had my cell phone service cancelled. I hope you’re satisfied!! I bet you won’t get my new one, we’re on to you, BEWARE, BE VERY BEWARE!!!! LMFAO!!!
August 26th, 2008 at 5:06 pm
Same thing happened to us, I dont even know how they got our number! And I didnt even receive a horoscope, even more crap. Fraud!
August 29th, 2008 at 10:21 am
Final Update:
in RE: msgs 40,41,46, & 52:
I decided to call that Number above, provided in msg 56 by “Joe,” But the automated voice does not say anything about Nevis or Enmob, it’s says something else, but regardless, I entered the option to unsubscribe, and put my number in and it said your number has been removed from our services. Yet the next day I still received msgs.
I called them on Jul30. on Aug 1 I received two msgs, one blank, one the text alert. I continued to receive text alerts untill my Phone bill for August became available., Aug 14th. Since then I have not recieved any Text alerts, nor did I receive any alerts on Sept 1. The rest of you could try calling that number: 1-866-784-7712 ?
I am free of this, and fortunately it did not cost me anything at all. I caught it early enough to have the Premium Services blocked. another important task, is that if you ever start receiving unauthorized text alerts from texting service, make sure to call your Cell Providor IMMEDIATELY. Don not wait. Even the ones that say “Enter such and such Pin# at such and such URL.” Heck, I would suggest all people not intereted in text spam, to have a Premium Content Block put on your phone. It’s like a vaccine against Text spam, lol.
it was just irritating receiving txts and ppl asking, hey who is that? and having to explain the stupid situation.
time to move on.
I pray the rest of you will find a resolution to your situations.
September 2nd, 2008 at 3:01 pm
Same thing no alerts tried to text stop to 26706..sprint would not refund 9.99 and would not put a block on the text, so I had to change my Cell phone number supposedly that will get rid of them…I’m very unhappy with Sprint for not refunding this SCAM !!
