Warrantless Wireless Bills

Annys Shin, author of Washintonpost.com’s The Checkout wrote last year about numerous emails she had received from consumers complaining about unwanted charges on cell phone bills.  Shin wrote that she had “never received so many complaints about a single business practice in my more than eight years as a consumer reporter.”

Bottom line:  you are not alone.

    I had charges of 9.99/month from Thumbplay and Buongiorno for Ringtones and Text Messaging that I did not sign up for and were billed by Sprint.
