Just spent a lot of time on the phone with Verizon. Some time ago, my wife came across an IQ test online, where they said they’ll send her a free code if she gives them her cell phone number. They did, and received the message “Reply Y to confirm Music Fan Club. $9.99/mo+Std rate. T&C on sendmemobile.com. Txt stop to stop. Enter security code 8028 online.” Of couse, she never responded “Y” to this, and she ignored a few subsequent messages from 77899, considering them spam. And our bill showed the $9.99 charge. When I called Verizon, they refused to even mark this amount as disputed and kept trying to get me to agree to be transferred to the 77899′s customer service. As I kept saying that I do not see the point in talking to the scammer’s customer service and that I believe that it’s Verizon’s responsibility to fix it once I told them it’s fraudulent, Verizon’s representative kept trying to convince me that if 77899 thinks I have subscribed, then I must have subscribed and I kept telling them that this is wrong. Verizon’s representative suggested not giving out my number on web sites, and I told her it’s crazy if just by knowing my number (like lots of my friends, collegues, etc) one can subscribe me to a paid service without my consent! Verizon’s representative first offered to refund $4.99, but I told her it’s still wrong and eventually they agreed to refund the whole amount.

This website is the worst one that I have ever tried to use. Their customer service is the worst, the service does not work, and I am going to try to report them to the better business bureu. I recommend that no one uses this service, if you do you will waste time, and will get nothing.

I will reiterate my comments: We understood from your website that the new ring was “Free”. I was then charged $9.99 on my T-Mobile bill. The joke is I never did get the ring because it was not completed. Shock to see the charge, I called T-Mobile and was told I must go through your company to cancel something I never got. RIP-OFF! Please be sure to cancel my order which I never received. Cell phone #914-672-4421. Marion Gaudenzi

  17. Tracy Durbala says:

I was charged 9.99 x 3 months. Left a very detailed message on an answering machine to cancel. Also did the “stop” to the number. It said my daughter was not a subscriber, yet showed a 20.00 credit on account ont he website! I received 3 emails via my phone telling me sorry and they will refund the 9.99 if I provide my full name and address. I was weary about opening and replying. They already pirated 30.00. I guess I will see what the outcome is on next month’s bill.

  24. Sharon Pitts says:

I just received my first cell phone bill and had 2 charges on my grand daughter’s phone from send me mobile. She’s only 12 years old.

  25. Sharon Pitts says:

I tried twice to call these people during their so called business hours and received the same recording. Also sent email and have had no response. I just finished calling my carrier (AT&T). They not only took the charges off but also put a block on the phone to prevent an further subscriptions. I still feel there should be some sort of regulations for these so called businesses.

  37. Elaine Harvey says:

I simply played an IQ test on facebook and it wanted my cell Number 810-956-0298 – when i got done with the test- it said that I will be charged $9.99 per month for this.

    Elaine Harvey

Pls cancel whatever it says that I will be charged for.

  39. Amber says:

I got four text messages from this site starting at 12:30am after I was already in bed. I had never even heard of this site, let alone signed up for it. I had to google the name just to find the Terms of Service. I am disgusted that there is no way to actually contact a person. Left a message and used the option to cancel service.
Will probably contact Verizon to tell them I do not authorize any charges from this company, since they apparently don’t listen to “customers” who try to unsubscrive.

  40. Stephanie Gisseman says:

We have been receiving charges for this for some time, even though we have submitted a stop request. It must stop NOW.

  41. brian says:

  43. Frank Gole says:

I received two text messages from 77899. I did not respond to either of them. Was billed $.10 for each text message from my carrier. I had my carrier cancell my text message service.

  44. Kyle Portner says:

I started getting monthly texts from 77899 docking $10 a month from my account balance. I don’t use my phone that much so I only put $20 on my account per month.

i am being chaged 5$ a week 4 something i did not ask 4,pls stop sending me these harassing text messages!

  48. Candace Dow says:

Yes, I was charged $9.99 on my cell phone. This was done after I received a text message which told me that I needed to text back “stop” in order to stop any charges. When I did that, I get a response back saying that they didn’t understand my text message. I also see a renew date on my cell of 3/21/09 that they would be charging me again.

  49. Dave says:

Billed 9.99 by sendmemobile.com for refusing to accept their ring tone message. When I sent them an email saying STOP DELETE REMOVE they responded with “We don’t understand your message”. They’re scam artists and should be prosecuted for theft.

  50. Melissa says:

I just got this text messege. I haven’t even heard of these people so I better not be charged for some scam artist’s service. If I do, I WILL be calling a lawyer.

  51. Ken H says:

Why are you telling THESE guys to stop billing you? They have nothing to do with it! Read next time

  52. JJ says:

I don’t where this came from, but it showed up on my Verizon bill as Premium TXT Messaging. This is junk business practices by that company, aVZW better remove the item from the bill.

  53. Judy says:

My son’s Verizon line is being charged 9.99 by send me 77899. When we texted to stop the charges it says we have no account? Then why are we being charged????

  54. Rick says:

Premium TXT Messaging is now they add the the charges on to the bill. Call Verizon and have them put a block on Premium TXT Messaging and your never get scamed like this again. That is the solution a Verizon rep came up with for us.

  55. leroy wilder says:

  59. Ryan says:

I am always suprised how it’s posible to get riped off or companies are able to steal your money or charge you for services you have never agreed for like in this case with this company. My phone bill was higher by $20.00 from companie I have never hear about.Sprint told they got charge by them and they are charging me. Please is there anybody who could advice me how to “legally” steal my money back?

  64. tracye hyde says:

do not call or bill me for anything that i dont want , take me off your database

  65. Ryan Stephens says:

I thought I was taking an on-line quiz that was free and next thing I know there is a $40.00 additional charge that I wasn’t expecting on my Sprint phone bill. They charge me $9.99 and my wife’s number $9.99 and also an additional $19.99 to my wife’s number. The thing that is most upsetting about this is that I read everything and I have a hard time believing that I agreed to this. I would have never have done this if I knew it was going to charge with even a penny! These guys are criminals and crooks and need to be put out of business.

  66. Brittany says:

I just got my T Mobile bill. Was charged 9.99…even though I sent “STOP ALL” right after I realized what had happened. Stupid facebook iq test!

  67. Patricia Tooker says:

I am on a shoestring budget, having lost my home and job, my cell is for job hunting only. I remember recieiving a text message about auctions and cleared the screen…next thing I know, I have an unauthorized charge and service I never approved or asked for billed to me. I’m not even sure what the service is

  68. Robert Sclafani says:

The SendMe Mobile crooks charged me $9.99 for something I never ordered. I got T-mobile to block all future charges from them but I lost the 9.99. According to T-mobile, I “authorized” it. How is that possible? SendME should be in jail with Madoff.

  69. Ray says:

I contacted them and complained and they agreed to refund me the $19.98 charged. I got my refund today, a month later.

  70. Megan says:

I found this website trying to unsubscribe from a random txt sevice I somehow ended up getting. I also took an online quiz and am now bombarded with music fan club text on my verizon phone. Its very annoying, although I hadn’t noticed any additional charges on my bill, but I will be sure to look for them now!

  72. Leanne Joyce says:

I did a couple of quizes on facebook and NEVER saw anything saying I would be charged for these quizes. I was charged 2 times of $9.99, I would like to be taken off your list and receive a refund for $19.98. Olease contact me if you have any questions.
    loveboomer@comcast.net.. THe code I received 2 times was 77899.

  73. Laura says:

Just got one of these charges on my t-mobile bill. I NEVER give my phone number out on-line, nor do I sign up for any “text/trivia/ringtone/wallpaper” services. No idea how it showed up. Plus the time on it was a time when I am never awake. Called up t-mobile and they were surprisingly good about it. Credited my account and put a “blacklist” on my number so the charge can’t reappear.

  74. humberto villalobos says:

I was looking for a job not get chargerd for a service that i dont need if i get charged this monthely fee i will take legal action >

  75. jeff vasser says:

Just tried to cancel U guys, two texts later and a charge of almost 20dollars got it done. Didn’t even realize I was being charger 9.99 every time U texted me your Bulls#%$t. Don’t even remember signing up. On the phone w/ verizon now to try and get my money back! U guys suck!!!!

  76. Deborah Greenwood says:

just tried to cancel by texting, will not let me cancel.I tried to cancel by text message, but could not please cancel.STOP ALL

  77. elaese says:

    stop sending me text

  78. Mary Page says:

sent text message to 77899 to stop all subscriptions (that I didn’t know about), but rec’d text message back stating that I wasn’t subscribed to any of their services. Being charged $9.99 for the past 3 months for something that I’m not subscribed to. I expect this company to refunded $29.97 and to stop any future charges to my cell phone.

  79. Katie says:

This is a bunch of BS, when calling their so called customer service number there is a bunch of options and one it to talk to a live operator and then a recording comes on to leave a message. I have been charged 9.99 for 3 consecutive months after repeatedly texting stop to these people. This place has the worst service and ethics that I have ever seen in my life. What a bunch of losers!

  80. Destine Broussard says:

I was job searching and this website would not let me continue without submitting my e-mail. So unfair to just demand that in order to continue my job search. Please refund my money!

  81. Darlene says:

It also started as a fake IQ test on Facebook and then I received the text messages saying that I’m now subscribed to their service for $9.99/month. I was also subscribed to another service called FlyCell for $19.99 without my consent. I text “STOP” back right away and receive a confirmation text back saying that it was canceled. Weeks later I checked my wireless bill and found out that I was still billed by both SendMe. Inc and Flycell. I just called iSendMe, and they said they’ll send me a check for the refund. However, I needed to give him my full name and address, which I did. I don’t know if this just push me into another scam hell. Hopefully I’ll receive the check and nothing will happen. As for FlyCell? they wouldn’t give me a refund at all. The only best thing I could do is to cancel. I did get to speak to customer service in both case. And I only hope that they’ll keep up to their words. Just a tip if you want to call in for customer service: don’t call at regular business time. I called at 5am in the morning (which was when I found out that I was billed!). They picked up.

  82. Uncle Tuck says:

Yep they got me too. Stupid Facebook Quiz. Glad I found your site, and entry#24 (cudos to Sharon Pitts) I called AT&T and they Stopped and blocked it, and refunded the charges. They are aware of the fraudulent activity, and had no problem helping me. Again Thanks for your site!

  83. HeidiH says:

So, thanks to your website we stopped scratching our heads trying to figure out where the two 9.99 charges on our Verizon bill came from. Called Verizon immediately and they knew exactly what we were talking about. Credited us the 20 bucks and de-authorized the scammers. THANK YOU VERIZON!! Where else can we file a complaint about the scammers??

  84. Tim says:

charged 9.99 over the last 3 months for a service I never agreed to. Currently filing a complaint with the better business burea. The rating for this company on the BBB is an A- [can you belevie that]. My suggestion to everyone on this board is to file a complaint with the BBB http://www.bbb.org and get there license revoked. they have only had 41 complaints in the last 36 months, but this is only because people tend to let things like this pass. DONT LET THESE SCAMMERS GET AWAY WITH IT FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB AND WE CAN GET SOMETHING DONE ABOUT THIS.

  85. Christina says:

The same thing happened to me. Believed I was only doing a quiz. It asked for my mobile number to send results which I gave. Didn’t know it was to subscribe to something. I got charged twice on the same day.

  86. Pradeep says:

The same thing happened to me. Believed I was only doing a quiz. It asked for my mobile number to send results which I gave. Didn’t know it was to subscribe to something. I got charged twice on the same day

  87. Rich says:

I came across an IQ test online, where they said they’ll send me a free code if I give them my cell phone number. I did, and received the message “Reply Y to confirm Ringtone Club. $9.99/mo+Std rate or Enter security code 1224 online. Txt stop to stop.” I never responded “Y” to this, and I ignored the subsequent messages from 77899, considering them spam. And my bill showed the $10.66 charge. I have not downloaded any ringtones from their site. I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED!!

  88. Rich says:

  89. bill says:

77899- att took the cahrges right off with no hassles. 77899 is fraud, no doubt about it!

  90. Kris says:

I received this charge from 77899 for 9.99 on my bill. AT&T removed it no problem and set up some kind of pin accessed “parental controls” that blocks any type of purchases.

  91. David says:

Yea opened the bill today, and it looks like they got my girlfriend. $29.97

  92. Sam says:

My daughter’s number was charged. Nothing downloaded. Mobile providers should not require us to block this kind of charge. It should require action on our part to allow something like this!!!

  93. T. Silva says:

My daughter’s t-mobile phone has been charged $9.99 twice so far — without ANY approval or permission. Whatever they were promising to deliver has yet to be seen. We still have no idea what the charges are for or how we ever got caught up in this net of abuse! Please correspond to the email address provided to confirm that

  94. Gretchen says:

I think my charges (one from SendMeMobile & one from SoLow) came from something I did on Facebook. As soon as I saw that there were going to be charges, I sent the text to STOP. But I got charged $9.99 EACH by Verizon Wireless. It was actually something one of my Facebook contacts sent me. I didn’t think I’d get the charge because I cancelled right away, but I did get charged. I haven’t received any other text messages, so I don’t know if I should wait until next bill to see if I get charged again.

  95. Misha says:

I just noticed this on my AT&T account. AT&T told me to add my lines to the do not call registry. They also have stopped these billings and will be refunding the charges on the next statement.

  96. AL Frankrone says:

Same story of unethical Madoff type bus by sendmemobile. No resolution, I call Fcc daily and call their # 866-206-9891 several times a day and just press zero every once in awhile to keep their line tied up and increase their expenses

  97. AL Frankrone says:

My waisted time will surely never be refunded

  98. Bill says:

Spammers send and email or on Faccebook you access Solow games. You run throught the IQ test and in order to get the results you have to enter your cell phone number. They then use your cell phone number to sign you up at SendMeMobile.com. SendMeMobile then sends text subscription security code to your phone. The spammers now send you a text message asking you to enter this code into a web site to get your IO test resutls. You get your IQ test resutls and they now have your cell phone number and the subscrption access code. They ue this to sign you up at SendMeMobile and it other alias web subscriptions each as for a $9.99 monthly access. SendMeMobile make money off the subscription and probably pays the spammers/crammers a fee for each account they sign up. The cell phone providers do not care to protect their customers. This is like American Express allowing anyone to charge your card without authorization.

I may case I would not let Verizon off the phone until they removed the $60.00 in unauthorized charges and changed the phone number(compromied by crammers).

  99. Fred says:

Same story as everyone here. Got billed twice ($9.99) for whatever scam plan. I called AT&T and representative was very helpful and credited account. Rep put a courtesy stop subscription on my account and recommended that any time your phone plan has a text messaging feature, you will receive these types of scam emails/texts. Representative recommends to read text msg and respond to “stop or unsubscribe” to these scams. AT&T is awesome! Thanks for the credit AT&T!!!

  100. Chris Hayes says:

I just received a text randomly from them after my fiancee received texts for like 3 months. There is no way that this can be legal.

  101. Kelly Matlock says:

I have been receiving annoying, unwanted texts from these people for the past three months & just realized I was being charged. This is criminal. It’s no different than someone robbing you at gunpoint once a month, they are just using technology to do so. It is deceitful and abhorrent.

  102. Trish says:

Took the IQ test. Never asked to join anything. They charged my cell phone with out authorization.

  103. Mohit says:

This is really pain..How can these guys charge us like this without our authorixation.
This month I got 2 charges for $9.99

  104. Ronald F. Ardron says:

    Wow
    I answered a trivia question!
I was asked to summit my cell phone number so I would know how I stood
with the people who challenged me to play this game folks that I know!
Low and behold on my next Cell Phone Bill!
    sendmemobile.com, solow.com two charges for $9.99 each or $18.98
I am know in the procees of disputing these charges!
These folks do not answer emails or phone calls!

  105. Kat says:

Charges have appeared on our bill out of nowhere that we never authorized

  106. Kate says:

Today in reviewing my AT&T bill I noticed that it was more than in previous months. When I accessed the bill I found a charge for $9.99 for a monthly subscription that I knew nothing about–had not ordered. I contacted AT&T Customer Service who cancelled this bogus subscription and will credit my account for the monthly fee. I noticed in previous comments that when trying to play a game your cell phone number is requested—that did happen to me once but I did not provide the number and quit the game. If they need any kind of info like that then I always suspect some sort of scam. Again, the AT&T rep was very helpful and resolved the problem for me.

  107. Filthy says:

Take action, you guys! Download the MyWOT addon for firefox and mark these sites as fraud/scam! D: I did with every site listed, but one person is not enough. Also let TRUSTe know that their giving a website trust seal to the wrong people! Also, LEARN TO READ, posting your personal info here isn’t going to solve your problems– but I guess if you’re stupid enough to post your personal information HERE, then maybe you do deserve to be scammed :P JUST SAYIN’. Anyway, I received 3 txt messages this morning on my Tracfone. Don’t think I can be charged the $9.99, but I’m taking extra precautions juuuust in case.

  108. Filthy says:

Guess I should also add– I’ve never been to any of these sites. I am suspecting pinzoo for giving my information out to them, but I cannot prove they did. :P

  109. Disgusted says:

I have been charged 9.99 for this service and didn’t subscribe to it. I believe this happened through Facebook and they should be sued for allowing this to happen on their site.

  110. Peggy says:

I suspect FaceBook too and have removed my cell from my personal info, advise the same for others. I will cancel my Verizon phone if this charge is not removed. They did offer to refund me 1 MONTH and put a block on future mmmtxtalrt downloads. If I see the 9.99 charge again on my bill that is exactly what I will do.

  111. Ghst1959 says:

I noticed a 9.99 charge on my Altel phone from these idiots SendMe.com, altel said there is nothing they could do about it, after a little more research I found these people at 585 Howard street in S.F. Calif. I called them and let them know this, told them I never wanted there bs, I never oredered there bs, and they needed to refund me all $$’s taking from me via my phone, well I recieved the refund check today, guess I will go see if its any good. Oh yea they argued, but I told em I would be to there office in the morning if this is not taking care of..

  112. Dawn says:

I am livid, After Verizon told me they blocked 77899 from my cell I am still getting txt messages and being charged $9.99 to my cell ph bill and verizon WILL NOT HELP ME. Everytime I contact sendmemobile by ph or internet nothing works to cancel a subscription I NEVER subscribed to

  113. Tori says:

after reading the above, i am convinced that i was charged this $9.99 via that facebook IQ app. I am extremely annoyed, and sent a request to STOP to 77899 as directed and I was charged yet again.

  114. Eddie says:

Can we have legal action ot this ocmpany?

  115. J. Truesdell says:

My phone was billed twice by this scam. All I did was call AT&T, and they took it off my bill. AT&T’s service was surprisingly great.

  116. B. Weaver says:

I found their service charge on my cell phone bill, and i never signed up for it!

  117. Shane says:

stupid sendme mobile!!!!They charged me for no reason, but i got T-Mobile to block them and i got a refund! HA

  118. Ronald F. Ardron says:

    Received my refund from sendmemobie.com,solow.com
    This is their reply:
My complaint to the Better Business Bureau in California has been answered!
    email address
    http://goldengate.bbb.org/

On August 07, 2009, the business provided the following information:
    Hello,

We again apologize for the inconvenience and frustration Mr. Ardron has experienced with our company. In clarifying Mr. Ardron’s questions/concerns:
1 & 2. We do not know where and how Mr. Ardron received this information, but our customers do receive refund checks in the mail if orders are claimed to be accidental and/or unauthorized. In fact, we have processed a refund check for the full amount of $39.96, which is expected to reach Mr. Ardron within the next two weeks.
    3. Yes as we mentioned in our previous response. We have been in contact with Mr. Ardron and a refund check has been processed.
    4. Mr. Ardron has contacted us on July 29 to terminate all existing services with SendMe/SoLow, and we have not billed Mr. Ardron after July 29. We have billed him on two dates: June 5 and July 6.
    5. Yes, Mr. Ardron did text “stop” to terminate his SendMe subscription on July 14, however, the canceling process only canceled the service, not the charge that has already gone through on July 6.
    6. Once the decision is made to subscribe to our services, we send a detailed text message to their phone with a password (a 4 digit ”security code”) and an explanation of all charges ($9.99/month)read: >PIN=9892

We hope Mr. Ardron will contact us directly for any further questions and/or concerns from this point on.

    Thank you,
    Anlynn L.
    SendMe Customer Care

Ok they emailed me a check for $39.95 however Verizon Wireless has already given me credit for this $39.95 and has blocked their calls!
Maybe they did try to contact me,maybe the didn’t!

All I know is they refused to accept the many emails that I sent to them at!
    help@sendmobile.com
As they were retuned to me as undeliverable!

Well I hope this helps the many people out there that have been Crammed by these folks!
    That’s right Crammed!
Check it out at the FTC!

  119. Jacqueline Richardson says:

I was charged $9.99 plus tax by Solow, which I disputed with my mobile carrier because I had never signed up for it. They finally issued me a credit and said they were placing a block on my account from further charges. The person I spoke with stated that the block was for any new programs, but that the one through SoLow c/o SendMe, Inc. could only be removed by contacting SoLow directly. I have done that by voicemail threatening to report them to both the FTC and FCC is they don’t send me a cancellation confirmation within 24 hours. Let’s see if they respond.

  120. Jacqueline Richardson says:

Along with leaving them a voicemail which they have not responded to, I sent them an e-mail last night demanding to be removed from their service and stating that I never signed up for their service as well as a follow-up e-mail this afternoon. Still no response. I am NOT going to send them a text message to stop the service because I do not text at all and simply use the phone for emergency purposes only.

  121. Manuel says:

Just like most of you I was charged $9.99 for this service that I do not recall ever subscribing to. However, you can cancel it. If you go to their website you can cancel the account and they will no longer charged you for anything. Go to http://www.sendmemobile.com
and click on the “HELP” link in the botton. Then click on “HOW DO I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION?” Just follow the following steps to cancel your account. If you do not have a password which most likely you won’t, just send it to your cellphone in a text message by clicking on the link that tells you to send it to yourself when it asks you for the password. At the end you should receive a text message from them stating that your account was cancelled. When you receive it have a big smile in your face because you got away from them!!!! I really hope that can help you!!!!

  122. wicked says:

This is so funny, you people crying for premium text messages. You know you or your kids see “FREE RINGTONE” or anything that says “FREE”, and you’re eyes light up light kids eyes on Christmas Morning. Stop replying to the text messages and you wont get charged. Don’t blame the cell phone companies for allowing your 13 year old kid to accept the “FREE” content. It’s not their responsability to raise your kids, IT’S YOURS!!! The cell phone companies sold YOU the account, not the underaged minor. After you walk out the store with that brand new phone, it’s up to you to decide what you want to do with it. It’s YOUR fault you’re getting charged and nobody elses. You want them to stop? Send a text message to the 5 or 6 digit number that is appearing on your bill, and put STOP in the text, and you wont be billed anymore. Call your cell provider, ask them to remove the “Premium Service” from your account, and ask to put a “Premium Text Message Block” on your account. It’s that simple. Now, stop crying and get to work before you get another $9.99 charge.

  123. dro says:

i just started t-mobile as of aug 5th and i was making my second bill payment when the agent told me if i knew anything about send-me-mobile
after i had told i never even heard of them she then told there where two charges of 9.99 on my billing statement. i was very mad, but the t-mobile agent resolved the issue and i didn’t even have to look into the issue. she had told there a spam type company that will rip alot of people off just by taking those kinda tests, free this, free that and so on. i told i never even had my new My-Touch-Google-Phone long enough to go through all of the new features and already i have spam charges!?! she was like ya i know… so she black listed them. i thanked her she was very helpful go t-mobile…

  124. Meme says:

Why is everyone posting all their information on here? No wonder you got scammed. My idiot husband subscribed to the chat one on his boost phone since it’s only 4.99 a month an then thought hey I’ll put a password on the AT&T account and subscribe to a bunch of crap on the phone that my wife pays for. So the bill was like $350 extra for two months and I called and flipped out on a rep till they took the password off the account since it’s in my
name I don’t understand how a male can call and put a password on the account, but anyway, they charged a ton of money to my account and with no authorization from me and i JUST found out about it today from an AT&T rep!

  125. John says:

    Sendme Mobile,
    Stop stilling;
return the momey you stole from people!!

  126. virginia branch says:

These vultures will not leave me alone. I continue telling them to stop. I don’t even know how they got my cell phone number. Isn’t there something we can do.

  127. RALPH VERTIN says:

jUST RECEIVED MY PHONE BILL WITH BILLING FOR FYLCELL. I DON’T WANT IT, NEVER ASKED FOR IT ANF FIND IN VERY ANNOYING.

  128. Diana says:

I never authorized this service. Have been trying to cancel but nothing has worked.

  129. Lori Stewart says:

I have been being billed for unauthorized premium text messaging through your website at $9.99 per month. I never wanted or asked for this messaging and am pretty upset for these charges being billed to my Verizon account. Verizon has put a block so no more messages can come through, but I would like a refund for charges billed to my account. How do I go about getting that refund??

  130. kent peterson says:

I am sick and tired of these people E-Mailing me every time they do it cost me money and if they keep it up I will contact the FCC my cell phone compeny and who ever eles I can find becouse I have tryed and tryed to stop this but they dont unberstand the word STOP I will find a way to stop thme thank you.

  131. bambam says:

    STOP

  132. toohot2 says:

I couldn’t get any satisfaction with this rip-off company, sendeminc. so I ma filing suit in the local small claims court tomorrow afternoon when I =get off work. It costs me $75 dollars and I get to sue for up to $7500.

Do you think they will stop textingme then?

  133. nick says:

i told them i was a lawer and threatened to sue them. they coughed up a refund check like it was a bad peanut.

  134. Jackie says:

My 11 DS was a victim. They sent repeated texts. He texted back “who is this?” and they nailed him for 9.99/mo. He had just gotten his phone 2 days before. I had even warned him about things like this. We have been trying to cancel this since it appeared on our bill in Aug 09. You can’t get a human being via the methods provided by Solow (aka SendMe Inc). We sent an e-mail and got an response back saying it has been cancelled, but continue to have charges on our bill. Evidently Solow bills on the 13th for the next month and by the time you see it on your cell bill you may have only days to get it fixed before Solow is billing you again. We were advised by our cell company (Verizon) to bring in the phone to have all the aps wiped out and change the number to get this to stop. I’m not sure why they do business with this company-the rep we spoke with is aware of all the problems. My DS is very frustrated that someone can steal like this and get away with it. I reminded him that eventually “your sins will find you out”…including those done by Solow & SendMe Inc!

  135. Robert Ingram says:

I want you to stop billing my AT&T account with your download BS charges.I never authorized this service. Have been trying to cancel but nothing has worked.

  136. Teresa Smith says:

Received two $9.99 charges over two months on my Verizon cell phone bill. Found out it was from sendmemobile.com. Verizon said I would have to contact company directly as they are unable to remove charges. I contacted the company and stopped the service (that I never requested) and was told that I would receive a refund check for $19.98. That was in July. I have still not received the refund. I’ve called the company several times to find out where the check is and have either been told “it’s on its way” or that “someone will call me back.” How many of us have to be affected by this scam company before something is done legally?

  137. Jason says:

I just got a couple messages from 23687 that seemed to say I subscribed to their service because of some online IQ test. I never took said test. Called Verizon and they said there was nothing listed on the account, but I got their premium message blocking anyway. My advice to others is: don’t bother replying to the message, just call your provider directly and block premium messages. It’s not like they’re good for anything anyway.

  138. Tara Haller says:

    Stop Texting Me

  139. Luz says:

i am being charged for 21.77 every month for three month

  140. Luz says:

i am being charged for 21.77 every month for three month and i never asked for this service please if there is a lawyer out there that con take this matter into there hands some one has to stop them i hardly can pay my telephone, and i only use it to call local calls to my family don’t reply to these type of messages be aware call your phone company to block this type of things

  141. mario barruga says:

i got charged $29.97 every month for no reason on my cell phone bill that i did not order.so please cancelled.

  142. eleanor velasco says:

I never ordered this please cancel at once.
Credit the amount you charge on my bill.

  143. eleanor velasco says:

cancel at once I did not order this I have been charge for something I have not ordered

  144. eleanor velasco says:

I did not order this please cancel and send my refund for what you charge

  145. Jessica(Beth) says:

Please Cancel my acount thank you!

  146. ralph george says:

No one ordered this crap. It is a scam by the cell companies. Notify the state attorney generals office.

  147. John Kasper says:

somehow my 13 year old daughter started getting charged for this service just by visiting there website i guess. she has never ordered or received any kind of ringtone or any other service from this scam artist company

  148. Chris Morriss says:

Same sad story as above. FB allowed an app to one-sided. Sent 2 emails for help, asked Verizon to do something, and nothing has changed. I do believe I found a lawyer to assist in getting my refund back.

  149. John P says:

My son’s phone was charged $9.99 for a service he never heard of. He texted 77899 with the work CANCEL and received a txt back stating his subscription was canceled. I also called sendmemobile.com customer service at 877.373.6363 and confirmed that the cancel worked. She gave me a cancellation number. It is unbeleivable that the BBB has accredited sendmemoblie with an A+ rating. this is fraud. The President of the sendmemobile company is Russell Klein. Send him an email at help@sendmemobile.com;chris.g@sendmemobile.com and let him know that his business practice is unacceptable.

  150. Margo A. Russell says:

I keep getting text messages about these ringtones, and that I am being charged $9.99 per month. I did not authorize these charges and these charges better not be put on my account or I am filing charges against your company! What a scam this is. You have NO AUTHORIZATION TO CHARGE ME FOR ANY RINGTONES OR ANYTHING ELSE. CANCEL ANY FURTHER CHARGES AND REIMBURSE MY ACCOUNT FOR THE CHARGES YOU TOOK!

  151. Justin says:

Everyone here needs to file a complaint through the Better Business Bureau. It is the only way to get back all your money. Don’t try to go through SendMe Mobile directly, they are scammers and will not listen. Your phone company will not give you a full refund. Only by going through the BBB can you get it. And even then you must persist. SendMe Mobile will try to delay and put off your refund. They will say it will arrive in several weeks. But you must reply you are not satisfied with their response until the check arrives and is cashed. They tried this with me saying it would arrive in a few weeks. But on BBB you have to respond by a certain date or else your claim will automatically be closed. So reply that you haven’t recieved the check and are still waiting for the promised check, do not let it go. SendMe must pay!

  152. Justin says:

To stop, text STOP to 77899.

Then complain to the BBB for a full refund.

  153. Justin says:

Complain to BBB. Get your money back. Then complain to the BBB again for fraudulent business practices.

  154. Justin says:

Could someone please enter the text messages that they recieve from SendMe Mobile?

I’ve filed a complaint against them and want to know the wording of their texts, and how many you receive at once.

  155. Betty Bingham says:

I have repeatedly told 77899 to STOP but they keep texting me and charging me. What more can I do? I don’t even know how to text. It’s annoying and expensive. I DO NOT AUTHORIZE it, nor did I. Please let me know what more I can do to STOP THE HARASSMENT and EXPENSE. Thank you.

  156. Betty Bingham says:

    Please notify me ASAP.

  157. Justin says:

File a complaint with the BBB

    https://odr.bbb.org/odrweb/public/complaintlink.aspx

  158. Carrie says:

I too am getting msg’s from this company and Verizon is charging me 9.99 per text. I never authorized this but they will not remove it from my bill. This is terrible. Verizon claims they have a double opt in process but that is not true, I have NEVER authorized this company to send me anything.

  159. verizon employee says:

hey every one this is a scam i rec atleast 5 calls a day over this same issue. little food for thought do not put ur number n to servic online n if u hve or are getting msgs from the service reply back in capital letters STOP this will remove u from there contacting. n we can refund the chrges. once we place a blck for premium sms just a little fyi to help the customers we care about thanks have great day. oh fyi from several msg already vzw isnt chrgeing for this they chrge ur cell number so there isnt a reason we should say no to this crdt.

  160. tina says:

    stop unsubscribe

  161. Dale says:

Send Me Mobile, Inc. made unauthorized
monthly charges for $9.99 per month to my AT&T wireless account. AT&T had to put a purchase block on my phone to stop the charges. The company began charging my account after I signed up with Facebook and was required to give my mobile number to register the account. I filed a complaint with the BBB.

  162. Jamie A says:

I do not want to be charged for this because I am not going to use it. do not send me any more texts and do not charge me.

  163. J says:

I Was Just Lookin at this an i didnt notice if there was any one sayin if they even played the game or not, i played and won a hundred 100$ Easy money!

  164. carol pruitt says:

i wont to cancel my ring tone i dont wont it, dont text me nomore thanks

  165. carol pruitt says:

cancel my ring tone. text message, dont wont it

  166. Kathy A says:

I have sent STOP about a million times! Now the texts are empty but they are still sending them and billing. I will call Verizon and request to block premium texting.

  167. John M says:

I put a block on my phone for premium texts through Verizon. I responded to the text with the word CANCEL. I contacted sendmemobile and talked to customer service. They refunded my $9.99. After 4 weeks I received the check yesterday.

  168. ANTONETTE KEMPLEN says:

I JUST COMPLETED THE PUZZLE IQ TEST. UPON COMPLETION IT STATES ENTER YOUR CELL NUMBER FOR RESULTS. I CHANGED MY CELL NUMBER BECAUSE OF IDENTITY THEFT AGAINST ME. AND I WILL NOT ENTER IT ONLINE THROUGH THE INTERNET.. SEND ME MY RESULTS THROUGH U.S. MAIL. HOW DO PEOPLE GET THERE RESULTS IF THEY HAVE NO CELL PHONES? THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

  169. carol pruitt says:

hey i would like a refund on my, for 9.99,for i ringtone i did not get.they took time from my phone.so give it back/?

  170. ERNEST DUTCHER says:

I was partly through the puzzle IQ test when I sensed the scam, and tried to erase the data entered. I cannot believe this crooked company can continue to swindle cellphone owners without Verizon or other wireless companies able to block it.

  171. Brandi says:

We are not sure how this was charged to our account but it showed up on our bill, after reading online that you just have to send stop to the number listed on the bill we did and got a message back that we are not even subscribed, I’m so not impressed and I will be calling Alltel this evening to find out about getting it credited back to my account.

  172. Doug Snyder says:

I was checking my verison account and discovered my daughter had two charges on her line for $9.99 each. I contacted Verison and I was told she had to txt the message “STOP” to each of these numbers and she would receive a comfirmation from them, Solow.com and Sendmemobile.com. She did so and received messages from each stating she was not subscribed for any of their services. I am keeping these messages for proof from the so called providers. Verison told me I had to contact them for a refund and that they “Verison” was not responsible for these charges. I have yet to speak with a rep from these scam services. I could not speak with a live person but had to leave a message for them to contact me. What is this mess. Verison is my cell provider and them allow a third party to charge on my bill without proof of service and without proof or authorization from the primary holder of the plan. What do I do next?

  173. casscass says:

This is stupid it is rediculous to fucking charge people i got charged $20 and i did not even get any txts or ringtones and it says im not a subscriber ether piece of bullshit stupid fuckers!

  174. Lisa Sarkady says:

Was charged $9.99 3 times for calls to 23687 on 11/26/09. Also charged $9.99 on same day by GameShow 20888. I know these are false charges because the cell phone they were charged to was broken during that time.

  175. Wendy Ganza says:

These people started charging us for this, and I called Verizon and after a couple of false starts, they removed this from my bill and blocked premium texting so that this won’t ever happen to me again.

  176. Tabitha Strain says:

I HAVE REALLY HAD IT THIS TIME THIS 3RD PARTY HAS BEEN TAKING MY MONEY OFF MY PHONE AND I DONT EVEN USE WHAT ITS SAYING I AM USING AND NOBODY IS GOING TO REPLACE MY MONEY BACK I AM GOING TO SEE IF I CAN SUE THIS IS NOT RITE AND I PREPAY FOR MY MINUTES AND ONLY ADD 10DOLLARS A WEEK AND HERE COMES THIS 3RD PARTY TAKING IT I NO THERES SOMETHING THAT WE CAN DO ABOUT THIS AND IM GOING TO TIND OUT WHAT IT IS

  177. DianaRae says:

I have no idea how they got my cell phone number. I happen to notice that the past 3 months I am being charged 9.99 a month from Sendme Mobile for what I have no idea.

I called Sprint and she “blocked” them and said she made sure the ‘service’ is discontinued.

I think something should be done. People are being ripped off.

  178. tron says:

40 bucks this month. sent “stop”..and stop all to 77899, received a no subscription of service reply. so that tells me that they verified that i do not have a subscription and i was charged illegaly and unlawfully.

  179. Pradeep says:

For accepting an invitation from a trusted friend for Tubely, which seemed to be social-network site, I was charged $ 39.69 for four different fraudulent websites. I had canceled text-message long ago, but I started receiving messages one after another. I called T-mobile customer representative and wanted to know why I was charged for the service I never received or did not want to receive. The representative tried to protect the scam websites and said, “They’re not fraudulent and you have agreed to pay for their service.” God knows there were no terms and conditions, but the lady kept repeating there were and insisted that I had agreed to them. I talked to three of the website representatives(SendMe Mobile never received my phone.) Two of the websites agreed to cancel my so-called subscription and refund me. One said I should reactivate my Tubely account to get refunded. How could I do the dreadful thing again? I said, “Please forget the refund, but cancel the subscription.” One of the website representatives was too rude to handle. Thank you T-mobile for your customer service and customer protection! How sad that you are robbed, but there is no place to complain. I hope two of the websites will refund me as they have promised.

  180. Russell Tyne says:

I do not want messages sent to my mobile phone anymore. I have asked them to stop they continue.

  181. maryann johnson says:

I did not subscribe for this and I GET 9.99 OFF MY CELLPHONE BILL EACH MONTH

  182. Thomas says:

Scammed me through a free IQ test. I immediately went to T Mobile my service provider and canceled/blocked any further access from this company. Sue these people!!!

  183. Ruth Dunigan says:

I do not want this to appear on my cell phone anymore. I think it is dumb

  184. Willy Wonkish says:

They started charging on my cell phone and said I requested it. Never did. Verizon has acknowledged they know these people but will do nothing. There is a House of Rep. Bill to outlaw them but all they will do is move out of the country.

  185. brad daigle says:

I was also drawn in by the IQ test, guess I didn’t do so well, but I initially was receiving text from 41933, and then 23687 got in on the action. I never signed up for solow.com, and didn’t know I was being charged by either number. Not only that, but verizon shows me receiving texts from these numbers after I unsuscribed, and these texts are not in my phone’s message box.

  186. ashley(: says:

i am so mad!!!!! i never even got anything off this stupid website! it just keeps snding me messages and everytime i same stop or call and cancel, it will tell me it was cancelled; then the next day it starts all over again!!! what is wrong with this! and how can i delete it?! i’ve been charged 200 dollars on my phone bill

  187. j says:

    stopall..

  188. kelly anne says:

I saw a news report on G4 (http://g4tv.com/attackoftheshow/exclusives/69897/AOTS-Investigates-Scammed–Crammed.html) about cramming charges and to report them.
From Verizion, the linked the charge to 23687, solow.com, phone number 877-402-3687. I called these people twice and left message about being an Alltel customer and a Verizon customer-left my work and cell numbers waiting for a call back as a true business should with no return call made. Later that evening, got the text that the service was canceled. I had a charge on my Dec-Jan bill and my Jan-Feb bill and Verizon has reversed them both. Trying to figure out how it happened-maybe online shopping from the phone for xmas. Anyway, the solow website has a link to the golden gate (i am guessing san fransciso?) better business bureau, email info@bbbemail.org

  189. Mary Matuke says:

I have T-Mobile and my grandson is on my account. He is 15 years old and got on the computer to order ringtones which he thought was free. I got my bill and was charged $9.99. I can not pay this because I live from day to day as it is. He is a minor and should not of been authorized to do so. Please help me. I have blocked all ways as to not let this ever happen again. Thank you for your time. Mary Matuke.

  190. Bob says:

How do I prevent these assholes from sending me anymore texts, I was billed $20 to my phone bill, for a damn IQ test. There has to be someway to get this website blocked and taken off the air.

  191. Dennis says:

I was misdirected to their website to retrieve pics that my sister had sent me via my cell phone. After giving them my cell phone number they sent me an access code via my cell phone. Once I entered thei access code I was charged $9.99. I found this out because I started tom receive stupid jokes in my inbox. Thanks to Verizon the charge was taken off of my bill. How does this hyway robbery continue to exist???

  192. Mary Matuke says:

I was charged $9.99 on my account. My grandson got a text and excepted it which is not right as he is a minor. He is 15 years old. He tried to stop but was too late. Please remove this from my bill which I cannot afford to pay. I have blocked all comunacations so he will not get any more. Thank you for your time.

  193. Mark Parker says:

These started showing up on my wife’s line with no explanation. I suspect they are connected to facebook IQ tests she was taking a couople months ago.

  194. nerm says:

I NEVER approved services (of any kind) from this company yet it appeared on my cell bill as a charge. Sprint told me that I had subscribed to the service -which I had NOT EVER DONE SO.

The customer service rep says to me ‘…I know how it happened to me. I was filling out a facebook questionnaire’ …and the fine print at the bottom says they will bill your phone X amount of dollars and cents. ‘Oh,” I said “that’s probably what I did.” Well, after a little investigation, I realized that that was not the case. Read on.

Here’s the kicker: I NEVER SUBSCRIBED NOR GAVE MY OK, –even accidentally, for this charge in question. My cell bill states: SendMe Mobile: Alerts –Solow Auction -12/26. This is a confirmation that it was not via a facebook or other online questionnaire, though I suspect that’s how they got my cell number, but it was a text message sent directly to my phone. I found that the suspect email was received on the very day that the charges were billed to my account. It read:

    Text Message
    From:
    236-87
    Message:
Win prizes playing SoLow! 20 guesses/day/game.
Reply HELP for help. $9.99/mo+ Msg&Data Rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel. Txt GAMES for prizes to win BIG!
    Received on:
    Dec 26, 09 4:38pm

I then checked my send messages for that day. I SEND NO MESSGES at all that day! So, how could I have been charged this service (which incidentally I never received any so called updates, what so ever) that I never confirmed –even by accident (cell in pocket can sometimes hit keys)? This basically means that this SoLow Auction company (own now by M-Qube) is committing fraud! The worst part is Sprint says they have no control over this practice and that I should report it to my local law enforcement!

I asked them to block SoLow Auction from their system entirely and again they opted to not do anything. Further they told me that there are just too many complaints and they can’t follow-up with all of them so they don’t follow up on any of them! What a joke! No wonder our economy is in such a shambles. Americans 50 years ago would never let something like this go unchecked. And we The People are the ones who pay for it all. Sad.

Researching this on the Internet revealed a long history of this company committing the same type of fraud over and over again. Changing their name or methods and billed amount. They are international in their fraud. What’s worse someone can fill one of these out for you and supply your cell phone number, without your knowledge, and voila you get charged and ‘you signed up for it’! Gone are the days of consumer protection. This is even easier than stealing your credit card! The moral of the story: We’re all in the wrong business! We should open our own ‘legitimate’ business and make a fortune! Lord knows no one will try to stop us.

In closing, I warn you not to fill out any online questionnaires that ask for your cell phone number. If it doesn’t result in an automatic charge, it just might supply some company with the means to bill you for services that you never asked for.

  195. joseph says:

I’m very shocked by how they approach you by phone and get $9.99 on your phone bill.luckly I called my service provider and tell them what happened.
this is totally scam.we have to do something.so easy to make $9.99 without someone’s permission.scary..

  196. carrie says:

please stop this silly nonsences of the scammers

  197. Adam says:

The same crap as everybody else. Some friends took a stupid online quiz and gave the site my number, next thing you know I am charged $9.99 for some service I have never seen or heard of. How can this company be allowed to exist? I will get to the bottom of this.

  198. Kim Maxwell says:

I was filling out survey for a stimulus check when i received a txt that took of 9.99of my prepaid phone. I need my money back on my phone or i’m calling the BBB. I have not subscribed for anything and it’s bullshit when you take advantage of people

  199. DjGraceRC says:

A simple advise, don’t enter your mobile number on some websites if you are not that sure about it.

If you received a text message about solicitation, kindly read it carefully, re-read it if you must. sometimes, our ignorance leads us to committing this mistakes which in the end we try to cover ourselves.

Guide your children and advise them not to input their numbers on any websites and if they do, they will be the one responsible for the consequences.

If you want to take a real IQ tests, kindly go to your local library or buy an IQ test book at your local bookstore. Those IQ test that are given to you are not really IQ test, if you want to take a real one, go to the nearest university or school!

  201. BARBARA says:

i was trying to watch a movie with my granddaughter off tv shack i was then told to answer this quiz and my moie would start. Then told my score was sent to my cell phone.I didnt even open the text and i was billed 9.99 twice.

  202. Charlene Tucker says:

Please take my name off the list. I didn’t tex this number, it was on my cell phone. They charged me $9.99 for the tex.

  203. Lindsay says:

I found a 9.99 charge on my verizon bill and had NO idea where it came from- then a week or so later recieved a text from “Send Me Mobile” saying they were renewing my subscription. I called them and they said that there is no way they could have charged me with out authorization and told me that someone had to have authorized it- which is impossible, I never asked for information from this group. It really made me angry how they are trying to manipulate me into believing I am doing something that I never did. What a frustrating, manipulative company that is doing illegal activity, I am researching ways to report them.

  204. Tiffany says:

I keep getting charges for 9.99/mth, was told by Verizon to text STOP. I did that the first month, then however I was charged again. I contacted the company as verizon told me there was nothing they could do, and after leaving 5 messages over two weeks, got a hold of someone today and they informed me that I did authorize the charges on a quiz, that I did NOT…and they cannot fix it, I have to pay it. Even if I had authorized these charges (which I did NOT) why did it continue after the STOP message was sent on the first bilL???

  205. Tiffany says:

    RE: DJGraceRC

Ignorance is one thing but when you don’t do online IQ quizzes that the company claims you did…and get charged for it is another. So, maybe your comments are for some, but I’m sure I am not the only one who did not submit to any of this BS.

  206. aaabbbccc says:

To anyone who ends up getting the message from solow.com or whatever company it may be. The only way you can be subscribed to the premium text service so they call it, is if someone puts your phone # in on a website, or an IQ test, or you or your child or friend or whoever it may be put your phone # in on a facebook or myspace application. These are third party companies, do not take this as I am agreeing with what they do, but do not get angry with your service provider who indefinitely had nothing to do with the charges. Wireless carriers do not gain money off of these stupid third parties who charge the wireless carrier who then in turn charges the phone # associated with that third party (in which case it happens to be the phone # on the account that you are upset about and you are blogging about right now).

  207. Jian says:

When we was surfing jobfinder.com and trying to click one of the posts, there was a pop up showed asking for email address and phone number. We entered, then we got a textmessage on the phone right away with a 4 digit number. Then the popup asked for input of the 4 digit number we received, we entered, then there was another text message with 4 digit number showed again, popup asking for input the 4 digit number again. We thought something must not right. We shutdown the webbrower and reboot the computer. Everything seemed back to normal, not pop up or things like that.
Our next cell phone bill ( with Verizonwireless ) showed $9.99 primier message charge on that date. I called Verizonwireless and they told me the charge is from a third party called Sendmemobile.com for suscription of their service. We never suscript any service from such a company, never heard such a company. After some investigation we found a lot people have been scammed just like us. I called Verizonwireless again, the guy helped me cancelled the suscription that I never ordered and refunded me money. It is good to get my money back, but we should stop this kind of scam. As what I have seen from those posts, there are handreds people vitemized already and there may handreds or thousands to come if it goes on and on. If someone knows how to stop it, please take it to the propriate agency or department of goverment wherever they have the means to stop this kind of scam. Please!

I have recieved a text message from the company “solow.com” and “sendme” talking about some charge for games or ringtones. I did not authourize this or give them my number. I looked up the company, canceld my subscription via phone and website. I also sent them the following e-mail to help@solow.com and sendme:

“I have received a text on my phone that indicates I have contacted you. I don’t remember ever doing so. I have texted STOP and STOP ALL to your number multiple times, but have received the same reply every time. I have not signed up for your service, nor do I want it. I looked up your “company” online, and found many others with the same complaints, many of whom were being charged $9.99/month for a service they didn’t sign up for. If you charge me, I will contact my phone company and law enforcement. I will not give up until I see you tracked down.

The number to take off your list is:
    _____________”

I don’t know who gave them my information, but I will take action against these frauds I they charge me.

I contacted Sprint’s customer service department and they credited my account and blocked future premium text services.

They were helpful and efficient. Kudos to Sprint

Two 9.99 charges on tmobile bill from sendmemobile.com. I called tmobile; at first, the rep wanted to send me to the Sendmemobile. Then, eventually, he contacted the “seller” who immediately credited the account. Also, blocked future premium charges.

  219. Lois Wade says:

  220. Jan says:

I am appalled with the number of complaints about the erroneous charges sendmemobile places on cell phone bills. Something should be done about this. I have also been a recipient of these erroneous charges (two months in a row) on my bill. It has been impossible to receive a refund. This company needs to be stopped.

  221. Sean Linnhoff says:

Just got my bill and was billed 9.99 for something I do not remember asking for. Verizon has blocked this option from my phone.Horrible scammers

  222. Robert says:

I clicked on a Facebook ad for an IQ test. Never really accepted anything but when I got the SMS about the subscription got suspicious. I sent several SMS to stop and got confirmation that I was unsubscribed from Flycell. Now I discovered they kept charging me.

  223. John says:

Cell bill was going up and I had no idea why. Looked into it. AT&T was very helpful. They prorated my bill and canceled a 9.99 a month subscription to “SendMe Inc: 77899#.” Never called it, texted it, clicked on it, etc., at least to my knowledge anyway. Something shady is going on.

  224. Ann says:

Just saw the 9.99 charge on my t-mobile bill on my sons line – he said that he tried to take a quiz on ogplanet to receive free astrods…as you can guess the charge began from there. He said that he texted the word “stop” to the number provided for cancellation..we will see if it stops the charges.

  225. chris mui says:

i never do any iq test or whatever link online. it jus t pops out in my bill. plz cancel it right away.

  226. Diana says:

Posting on this board will not cancel this charge on your bill. Sendme doesn’t read this. You MUST contact your cell phone provider and asked to have it stopped. Trust me, I know. It happened to me too.

  227. Carl says:

You would think after 226 entries Verizon would take a hint and investigate. This is fraud or deception. I believe Verizon could care less about their customers.

  228. Cherie says:

Yesterday I called Moviefone to get “Inception” showtimes. I’ve been using Moviefone for over a decade and never had any problems. The message said, “If you are calling from a cell phone, press 9 to get more informtaion” or something close to that. I pressed 9 and the message said I could get some kind of monthly info sent to my cell for $9.99 a month and to press 9 to accept. I did not want it. I DID NOT PRESS 9 again. The Moviefone theatre/showtimes came back on and I made my selections (never pressing 9) and hung up. Then I noticed a text message (I never text and tell people not to text me) from 778-99 that said “Thanks! Sendmemobile welcomes you.” I did NOT request the service. Today I went to Verizon to complain and see if they could put a stop on it. They said they could do nothing. I feel Verizon is giving incredibly poor customer service in this regard. I replied to the sendmemobile text with “Stop” but will have to wait to see if it shows up on my partents’ (!) bill. They’re the ones paying for my phone. Now I’ll have to tell them. Again, very displease with both Verizon and Moviefone at this point.

  229. Ronald Habora says:

  237. Patricia Mullen says:

  238. M M Buethe says:

Verizon bill saw a jump – showed as premium text msg. Long talk with kid who had “no idea” what premium txt msg was… Tried blocking / limiting text to that number – just kept getting billed. My fault for blaming the kid, should have checked deeper. It was a stupid IQ test that has now cost me over $100 in charges that were never agreed to. How much more of this is it going to take before someone does something? Can these “services” legally exist and how can any of these larger companies (Verizon, AT & T, Sprint) have anything to do with them?

  239. Kevin Fitzpatrick says:

If you are with Verizon Wireless, just go to your usage controls and block premium text messaging, that will keep them from doing this to you in the future.

  240. sandy lopez says:

can you get ringers to me cell PLEASE

  241. connie poirrier says:

I too was scammed by sendmemobile.com. I was sent a “movie trivia” text message and charged $9.99 each for two months. This is definitely a scam and my provider Verizon is enabling this to go on. Verizon of course did not help. I spoke with a sendmemobile.com rep who said he was located in San Francisco and would refund my $19.98 by check within 3 weeks. Think this will happen? Where is the aggressive class action lawsuit fraud specialty attorney that we all need? I tired of having to worry about consumer fraud and scam alerts wherever I turn!!! If anyone of you aggressive class action attorneys are reading this, I think you could earn millions (billions) by suing Verizon, Sprint, At&T and anyother providers mentioned above along with this sendmemobile.com scam company.

  242. Paul Terveen says:

My daughter went onto this website and I just noticed that we were bill 2X last month for this scam. 9.99 each time. I would like to see a rebate somehow

  243. here in CA says:

I don’t look at my phone bills closely, and a few months ago I noticed this sendme inc charge of 9.99 on my AT&T bill. I was going to call but I work a lot and am busy, so never did. I just looked online and traced — this sendme inc has been charged every month, 9.99, on my AT&T bill, since May, 2009! I am not looking forward to calling these fools, after reading here what others have gone through. What a racket. yes, class-action attorneys, you would have a gold mine if everyone was able to file suit for this abuse!!

  244. lhh305 says:

they charge me $9.99 for 7 months long from my T-mobile account 77899 Call (877) 3-SENDME

  245. Andy Jiang says:

I have sent STOP ALL to 77899 twice, one for each month, and they are still billing me this month.

  246. Tiffani J. says:

Noticed today that I had a 9.99 charge on my bill for something that I did not subscribe to. Looked at previous bills and noticed I have been charged that amount for the last 5 months. Instead of texting STOP cause from reading posts on here, that does not seem to do any good, I called T-Mobile and they were very helpful and knew what I was talking about and credited my account. I never subscribe to anything or download anything. The reason why I have been getting billed was from a spam text message that I had disregarded. Upon receiving this spam message back in May, being I did not reply STOP to it as soon as I got it, they started automatically billing me for stuff. I did not know they can do that, I figured if I just ignored the spam message, it would just stop. So if you ever get a spam text with some offer and it gives you the option to send back STOP, so it, otherwise you will start getting billed for something that you were not aware of. Not only did T-Mobile credit my account but they also put a block on stuff like that so it will not happen again.

  247. Bob Burdon says:

Just realised that the $19.98 that I’ve been charged by Verizon every month for the last year (and that’s only as far back as I can easily check
    so far.)
I feel that Verizon should have looked after my interests a lot better than to allow such a scam to do continued business on their service.
    I am well pissed

  248. Elizabeth C says:

I HATE this website, I didnt’ even know that I was subscribed to them and I have no idea what they are until I recieved a text saying that my subscription has been renewed.. for what ? for what service was it? I didnt even know.. So I followed what the email says and replied STOP and the Robot woman says I already been removed and wont be charge anymore in the future, I’ll see again next month if thats true.. Oh I hate this, I hate them a lot. I hope this well stop soon.. I’m using Verizon and prepaid.

  249. John V says:

I cant beleive that we the people allow these companies to operate. This is illegal. Call it a scam or call it fraud it does not matter these people are theives hiding behind a law that allows them to steel without a gun or even a mask. Just on this web site alone they have stollen more than Jessie James did using guns and masks. We the people are only letting these theives operate under our very noses.Something has to be done to stop this kind of enterprise from operating in this country.
It is quite odvious that the phone compannies will do nothing to stop this kind of operation from taking place. And the only reason that they would not do anything is because they are profiting from it. Other wise they would have already put a stop to it. There are 247 complaints on this site alone with people being scammed out of thousands of dollar. I wonder how many people are simple tired of trying to stop these theives. It is simple up to we the people, are we going to allow them to operate and continue to do business as usural? Or are we going to send letters to our representitive and leader and demand that these pactices are stop.

  250. Rob J says:

My 42 year old wifes phone line has been getting the $9.99 charge for months now for supposedly subscribing to a celebrity info/voting service. Yea, right. She could care a less about celebrities let alone care to vote on such mundane and useless trivia. These carriers shall be required to contact each subscriber before authorizing these services, end of story. This is a very large scam profiting these criminals millions. Count me in for a class action suit…

  251. Rebecca O says:

My 15-year-old son entered his cell phone number and didn’t realize there would be a charge involved. I called Verizon and they put a block all our phones so that we will not receive 3rd party texts. However, they would not refund the money. Unfortunately, we’re out $200. I have called the company, but after being on hold for 15 minutes, a recording announced it was now after business hours. I left a message but don’t be any hope they will call me back. I agree that these companies are bottom dwellers and should be made illegal.

  252. Michael Shepherd says:

You clowns charged me for some crap I didn’t sign up for. Your liars–cheaters-and theives. My son caught this scam after two mo.of billing. Shame on every one of you knukle heads!!!

  253. Tai Mai says:

This company is a huge scam and fraud. I never go to sendme website or any other cell phone like it because i know they are very annoying. I received my T-mobile bill this month and surprised what the heck is this charge. And i found out that it was in my bill the last two months. i remembered i did received a message from 23678 but the message was nothing just like mobile Ads i often receive. I just went ahead and deleted it. And from that time i was charged for 3 months without notice. I call T-mobile and they knew my situation. They said they gonna block this service and made a chargeback for me because this happened without my authorization and any agreement. The problem here is how they got my cell phone number? I did some online surveys and had given them my cellphone number..but it was not Sendme company. I concluded that this company is somehow like a fraud company. They might buy our cell phone number from survey websites or they are the one who create some sort of survey to get our cellphone number and using it to sign up for their service.

This company should be face the law for its crime.

  254. Aleksander Shtuk says:

Today, 12.13.2010, for the first time I received a text message from 77899 saying that they are going to charge my account every month for 9.99 for some Ring Tone club. I went on Internet to find out more about sender. Turned out that was sendmemobile.com. I immediately contacted Sprint with the complaint and asked them to block any services from and payments to sendmemobile.com. I checked my previous bills – turned out sendmemobile.com has charged my account without my prior knowledge since July 2010. I’ve never signed up for any Ringclub services unless they exercised some tricky way to get me sign their services. I would like to get my money back or join a class action lawsuit against sendmemobile.com.

  255. Crystal says:

I never order this and never got any kind of text for anything

  256. William Miller says:

Just noticed these charges on my bill, found this site. My carrier is T-Mobile. I contacted them, they immediately took the charges off, and canceled the service. Don’t know how they got my number, I don’t download ringtones, and I have never (Till I researched the charges today) been to their site, and definitely did not sign up for $19.98 in recurring (Tmobile confirmed) charges for nothing. These people need to face the legal system, and have a judge take their damn head off!

  257. Jeni says:

I also never got a text, and never signed up for the service. Sprint removed the charges for me, and made it so that no other 3rd party companies can charge my phone bill. Everyone who has put up with this for months while dealing with SendMe, try talking to your phone company.

  258. Amy says:

If you call Call (877) 3-SENDME they will supposedly cancell the service

  259. Emily says:

another scam on my AT&T bill is premiums SMS subscription: PROTXT SMS Alerts

  260. Michael says:

AT&T is negligent for letting this company to continue to steal from its users. A class action lawsuit is needed to stop the.

  261. Julia Moya says:

Fido charged me for the third part billing… i never requested this number, they r sending messages by their own.,i cant pay who will pay $155.32 as they charged me. i paid a monthly plan of $17.05.

  262. Marida Seki says:

You are charging my alltel phone 9.99 and I would like a refund to my bill. I do not get no ringtones or other services from your company. 218 478 4075.
    Thank you,

You do not return my calls.

  263. Marida Seki says:

I am requesting my 9.99 to be refunded to my phone. I finally talked to someone at sendmemobile and I told her that I never recieved anything from this company. I expect to see refund on my mobile phone bill next month. Please take me off your list. I DO NOT WANT YOUR SERVICES. I WANT MY 9.99 BACK. 2184784075
    THANK YOU VERY MUCH
    MARIDA

  264. Robert Potvin says:

Received a $90 charge from a subscription company who sent me an unwanted/unrequested text message. I opened it and sent back a message to not send me any more of their crap info; the computer replied I did not get the meaning of what you said, and then they proceeded to consider me a subscribed client ready for billing. I never asked for any services, or downloaded any of their crap, yet I am on the hook for the charges!! The CRTC or someone else needs to change the rules so that these guys stop abusing people who do not know that you must only text them ‘STOP’ in order to prevent them from contacting you again or considering you a client. All other forms of communication allow them to automatically consider you a client and bill you! By the way, my so called provider has no toll free client number nor a physical address at which they can be reached, only an email; and when you try to send an email, it fails to be delivered.

Where are the consumer laws when you need them?

    R.

  265. Joe V says:

Typical scammer bull$hit. Too bad that the cell phone carriers won’t do anything about it.

  266. John says:

I asked my carrier FIDO in Canada to stop any 3rd party charges on my phone bill. But they said they can’t do that!? I am considering to switch to other company. It does not make sense to me for someone just know my phone number to charge me!

  267. John says:

I started to receive the annoying msg a few months ago and I never opened them. I found out the charges on my phone bill. Called customer service many times and left msgs. No call back yet. I also emailed them and no reply up to now.

  268. Cindy says:

Ok i got one to add here. I did an online quiz also put in the cell # of phone I was paying for and using thru a friend to use up time left on her contract. After resonding stop to the text message T-Mobile acct was charged $9.99 I called the phone # included in text. I got to a live person She asked for my name and address to send me a check, I recieved a chck for $9.99 about 40 days later. Deposited in my bank it was returned as (ACCOUNT CLOSED)
From the Berkshire Bank. I KNEW IT WAS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE. This compan now cost me a $6.00 return items charge at my bank. There must be away to stop or shut these people down.

  269. Alma says:

God, I hate this website. Not only do I get annoying spams, but these assholes are charging me too! Someone somehow got a hold of my number and used it for one of those stupid quizzes, and now I’m stuck with this crap.

  270. Robert Lamason says:

A do not call number has serveral of Messages from
    short code 77899.
Wait till I get my Hands on your business. I will find you!!!

  271. rui says:

this website is criminal, they charged me 7 months for $10/month. And ATT likes all other phone company does nothing to stop that. They seem happily be the helpers to charge users.

  272. Mila says:

Over 2 years ago a strange cell phone charge appeared on my T-Mobile cell phone bill. I didn’t realize it as first, that the company Sendme Mobile was responsible for a $9.99 charge, every month. I found later that MANY customers of T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and Nextell are being charged this service that they DID NOT REQUEST. I called Sendme Mobile and “canceled” the service and asked for a refund. T-Mobile only refunded me for 2 charges (a $19.98 value). Send Mobile refunded me for 2 charges and sent me a check for 2 other charges. I deposited the check that was CANCELED a few days later. My bank charged me $10 for the canceled check. Again, MANY MANY customers are being scammed by Sendme Mobile (77899 and 23687). There’s a great need for a class action against Sendme Mobile!!!!

  273. Ed says:

Thieves is what they are. My wife doesn’t even have internet on her Blackberry and I have a Third Party bill on my Roger’s bill for 40.00. No one has ever ordered this (whatever it is). I asked my cell phone provider if they could block ALL 3rd party billing because I only want them to bill me for my cell phone and they said they could not. WTF? Why not? I don’t want to charge anything to my cell phone except my cell phone. This is not a credit card this is a cell phone. This definitely illegal to get these charges.

  274. Amir says:

    stop all message to 5146606286

  275. Remon says:

  279. Jamie says:

i Was charged $35 something i dont want from 23687. STOP

  280. Rick Persad says:

I started getting text messages without asking for it from some unknown number. So I deleted the messages. THen on my bill, I was charged $30.00 my tow companies I know nothing about. This is simply theft. After talking to my wireless supplier, I was advised to call the 800 numbers on my bill and ask them to stop and to send me a check for the amount. I called the numbers and simply got a message saying you have now been unsubscribed. There was no opportunity to speak to anyone. Simply put this is theft and the perpetrators should be brought to law and made to pay for their crimes. If there is a class action suite involved, You can count on me giving testimony.

  281. Vladimir Nikolic says:

I noticed charges in the last two months on my invoices for SendMe Solow *23687, one for $20, one for $25 ($5 each for a quantity of “something” I don’t know what!). I would’ve never subscribed to any such thing. I just got off the phone with my phone provider. The 1-877 number provided by the Third Party Provider who’s charging me is invalid. But I did send a message to *23687 with tex STOP. I got a reply saying “U canceled your Solow Elite subscription & will receive no more msgs or charges Reply HELP 4help or 8774023687 Msg$Data rates May Apply”
Yes, it was that illiterate, character for character! Anyway, hope this stops it, and I suggest you all try it!!!!

  282. moon says:

This is the 2nd month im being charged for this useless crap that i didnt ask for! i already tried to cancel it many times. Texted them STOP and yet i got charged again this month?? How in the world do i stop this crap?!

  283. Ben L says:

I began receiving texts from them. Obviously I did not request random popular music questions once a week for $9.99 a month, WHO WOULD? I said I needed a refund and they said “my service was cancelled.” They said no managers available. They also hung up on me 3x when I asked for a note in the system that my number never be charged, ever in the future. All 3 customer svc agents hung up on me when I requested that. They are a scam.

  284. Ben L says:

Sorry for the 2nd note. But the lady told me we texted you a 4 digit confirmation number when you requested svc. online. I never requested their svc and never received a 4 digit confirmation number. I still dont know where they came from.

  285. brian says:

Here you go!!! Text the word stop to the #23687 and you will not receive any more texts from them.Your phone carrier should reverse the charges and be able to block premium texts received. Good luck..

  286. chris says:

9.99 charge from facebook app. asked for my number. seemed harmless and i never requested any kind of service i was just bored. sent 6 messages to me in a row without prompt and charged my t-mobile account before i even had time to type stop. i never asked for anything or subscribed to anything i just wanted to play what looked like a standard free facebook game. That’s what i get for thinking. Thieves and scammers.

  287. Dave says:

I received a 9.99 charge from this service, I contacted T-Mobile and while they said they can not refund the money, they CAN block this type of service in the future.

  288. B. Senger says:

Told I had received 400 bonus air miles. To verify address give cell nbr. After that I started to get text messages daily from a total of three different companies. One was from Two way Traffic, which I was able to stop then i got text messages from SeandMe mobile and fro How LowcanYou Go.

the last two companies Telus cannot give me a callback nbr to either co.All I got from them was Google 23687(sendme mobile and 22700 Howlowcanyougo.

The onlyu way I could stopt the harassement was to discontinue the text message service from my provider. The provider also stated that I could change phone numbers. They would credit me only for $30.00. Basically told me to screw off,and if I don’t pay them the amount owing they would send me to collection. te “victimsare getting screwed, while the scamartists are getting rich.

  289. Rachel says:

This stupid sendme thing charged me two payments of $9.99. I would always try to unsubscribe to whatever it was,but it still charged me! PLEASE HELP ME GET MY MONEY BACK!

  290. Anthony Ashley says:

Just found out I’ve been charged 40 dollars because of this text scam. My wife posted something for sale through Craigslist and now we’ve been charged unauthorized money for no services. These people need to be stopped.

  291. changqiong zhu says:

I did not order any service from the website(SendMe, Inc.). It is so disgusting for them to send me text messages which I never replied and charged me $9.99/month. I went to the t-mobile retail 3 times to ask them for help with the charge. However, they just can not do anything with it. I will not use t-mobile anymore.

  292. norma says:

    there number is 1877 402 3687, jerks

  295. David W says:

  296. Dan Chang says:

I was charged S9.99 from sendme mobil. i never order this service. any class action against this compnay?

  297. Lindsay says:

Was just charged $9.99 on my phone bill for something I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF.

  298. Mary says:

Same as all the others – we had a charge for $9.99 on our bill this month. After looking up SendMe on google, we found this site and read through the comments. We called TMobile and explained the situation (it was a well-known scam, etc) and they took the charge off our bill with no problems. On the recommendation of others in the comments, we also asked for premium messaging services to be turned off so this won’t happen again. An annoying scam, certainly, but one that can be fixed.

  299. Roberto M. says:

Just Looked at my T-Mobile bill and saw this charge for $9.99 from SendMe. I had no idea what it was so I had to Google the company. I never heard of this website let alone had subscribed to it. came across this page looking for a way to stop the charges, and when I sent not only the Stop but also the Stop All Text to 77899 just incase and I got the message not a subscriber. I am off to deal now with T-Mobile.

  300. RZ says:

Please report them to the Better Business Bureau.

  301. Melanie says:

We got charged $9.99 two consecutive months. I called Att and they took it off. Hopefully it will stop. Att is pretty good. Kind of ticks me off that someone can do this, though.

  302. Katherine says:

My phone was cutoff this morning, with a past due amount of $100. I have a flat rate, paperless bill. So I never looked at my bill because it never changes. Well apparently for the past 10 months there has been this $9.99 MobiTxt: Alerts – 41933 MM Alerts 3rd party charge.

I called Sprint (my provider) and they seemed to know immediately what it was and offered to block it from my phone account. These horrible scammers, I did notice these idiotic Quiz text messages. But never saw a way to stop them coming, because the text in the message says that if you “take” the quiz you will see data and message charges. So of course I never replied, thinking well nothing to be done. Had I only known. Sprint was helpful in blocking and removing 3 months of the payments from my bill. But I am stuck with the other $70.

This is horrible. And while Sprint was very helpful. I find it surprising that Sprint or any other cell phone company would not have a fraud alert and block these type of companies from billing their customers once they have reached a certain number of fraud complaint calls.

  303. Ron says:

    This is an Fing scam.

  304. bite sue them says:

Found a SendMe Mobile charge for $9.99 on my T-Mobile bill. Never heard of the company. Called the number and was told that my “subscription” would be canceled. Received a text message saying “77899 WT411 confirms canceled WT411 subscription and no longer received messags/charges.” I then called T-Mobile. Staff member promised that $9.99 would be credited to my account.

  307. amy says:

SendMe Mobile keeps charging me $9.99, when I never subscribed to them. I called T-Mobile and spoke to a representative who said they would refund the money and would block my number from them.

I was applying to Publishers Clearing House and while I was applying it sent me to a page I thought was atttached to PCH so I went ahead and entered my number, only to recieve a text within a few seconds from something trying to get me to subscribe, I immediately replied STOP and it stopped. Just got my phone bill and see I was charged the 9.99 fee for this crap.. its offensive to know that just because someone knows my cell phone number they can put random charges on my bill.. Our society has gone down the toilet!!!!!

  309. Michelle Baldwin says:

i have been billed for these services and never ordered not a one.

  310. Amy says:

I have been billed for 2 months of this SendMe “service” that I have never even heard of. I did not even receive texts from them or know how they even got my phone number. I just texted STOP and it says my subscription is cancelled so I hope that’s the end of it. T-mobile won’t even credit back the charges… As soon as my contract is over I’m done with them too.

  311. cindy archer says:

Yes this is a scam that turned up on my t mobile bill! They did not credit this! So i am paying for a scam!

I noticed that my t-mobile bill came about $10 more than usual for the past couple of month, even of I didn’t go over my minutes. When I looked into it, I’ve been change by SendMe 77899 type D2S (?). Apparently I was still awake at 5:05 in the morning…

  314. Kent Elliott Jr. says:

I just noticed that this “Send Me” company has been charging me $9.99 a month since last august! I never agreed to any service nor have I used they’re service this whole time I’ve been charged. I’ve spent a total of $70 for a service I didn’t want, sign up for, or need!!

  315. Carlos says:

I did not knowingly order this service. My cell is unable to play ringtones due to problems. I saw 9.99 extra on my bill and to my dismay I had been plished. You dirty dogs you. I hope the BBB and God punish you.

  316. DJ says:

  317. eLLa says:

guys its all our fault we shouldn’t be putting our phone numbers on any website on the 1st place. Because internet these days are pretty tricky

  318. Elizabeth Martin says:

We had a run in tonight. When my daughter logged into Facebook it looked legit. It said she had to confirm he phone number or her account was in danger of being diabled. It had no identifying company logo’s other than facebook. When we put it in the next page still said facebook only now there was a timer as to how long we had to put in the four digit pin. It said that her facebook account would be disabled if we didn’t and the timer counted down from 90 seconds. We put it in and instantly got multiple texts. I called my cell carrier right away and reported them. Also reported to facebook and FCC. Why haven’t they been shut down yet?

  319. sharon says:

$9.99 charge from solow on my account; t-mobile removed it as soon as I questioned it.

  320. Anna says:

They actually charged me TWICE for this stupid “service” that I never agreed to. Luckily, T-Mobile did the right thing and made sure it was all cancelled and then refunded my money and then blocked this kind of thing from happening again.
    Stupid scammers.

  321. matt says:

Charged $9.99 for something I never purchased. I called TMobile and they tried to sell me the “Premium Subscription” that will block up to 10 numbers of my choice for “only 16 cents a day”. Sounds like a nice scam partnership if you ask me. I politely declined their offer and asked them if they could block that number and remove the erroneous charge off of my account. Based off of what i could understand (the girls accent was often times unintelligable) she complied with my request, but i still have to pay the whole amount this bill and will be “reimburst on my next bill”. Time will tell

  322. Charles Scott says:

They subscribed my mother to there service and charged her $19.98 yet they claim they only charged her $9.99. They will send a refund in check-form for $9.99 in 3-4 weeks. WHAT A @$@#$%@% SCAM. What can be done about these people?

  323. Tom says:

My dad’s phone was taken for this fake product/service. I asked him about it and he has no clue what I’m talking about or what the company is.

    SendMe: Alerts – 65555 SoLow -07/08… $9.99

Now I have to try and figure out how to cancel this thing and even more difficult will be figuring out how to keep it off.

  324. Liana Ye says:

$9.99 charges from solow on my account without anyone register; t-mobile said to blocked it as soon as I questioned it, but not refund the charge. The next month it shows up on my bill again. I stopped it again and noway to know they don’t charge me again.

  325. Marion says:

3 months ago we started getting charged $9.99 for something we did not order. It was on my husband “basic” phone. He called and reported this to T-Mobile and they said that they are authorized to ask for a refund from the company charging for their service. Today I received by bill and for the 3rd month we have been charged again and have no yet received a refund. I called about it and was offered to pay every month to block these companies from charging for something you don’t subscribe to. I too wonder what is going on with T-Mobile. They are making money somewhere in there. Also, when a different company charges your phone for some app they should contact the customer to make sure that we ordered it.

  326. Michael says:

A $9.99 charge showed up on our cellphone bill from this company. This was on a emergency cellphone that is never used and I know we never texted this company nor done business with them in any manner. This is flat out fraud.

  327. Tim says:

I contacted the phone company and had them cancel the service. Then I called the 866 number on the bill and spoke with a customer rep at SendMe. Since the phone was my daughter’s, who is a minor, they told me they would rebate the entire 5 months of service ($49.95). Now I’m waiting for the check in the mail … :)

  328. Bob says:

Charge for 9.99 was billed to my cellphone without my authorization from SendMe.
Service Provider suggested that I call them @ 1-866-277-9648.
I was offered a full refund. However, it took me several attempts to get in touch with a live representative.

  329. Pedro says:

  330. Sharon says:

I was charged $19.98 a month for 6 months before I figured out I was getting extra charges. SendMe claims my husband received a text and entered a code in to agree to a subscription, but he never did that. It is criminal that this company can get away with this sort of practice.

  331. christopher Kunicki says:

Just noticed my wife’s phone was charged $9.99 for the past two months from solow.com. She ordered nothing from them.
