Content Provider Complaints
If you have received charges on your wireless cellular phone bill from third-party mobile content providers for mobile content (i.e., for ringtones, premium text messaging services, ring tones, joke a day programs, wallpaper, screensavers, text alerts, etc.) that you never authorized mobile content providers to bill you for, tell us your story.

Pop up that asked if I wanted to know the name of my “perfect lover”. I did click yes and after receiving the initial answer, I started receiving daily horoscopes - something I did not prescribe to. Now I found out I am being charged about $1.10 a horoscope. I have contacted my cell company and they have given me contact information that has not been useful with trying to contact them.

I have been with sprint for well over 2 years. There have been several billing errors on several different monthly bills. The current bill is approx. $116.00 over what it should be. I spent 1 1/2 hours on the phone with several customer service reps last night. I spent 1/2 hour in the local sprint store today. I have notes from last night. The service reps were ill trained, rude and lying to me. They ended up accusing me of lying and stealing your services, said services I did not even know existed nor do I know how to access them. I have no children and my phone is always in my possession, no one else can get to my phone except my wife who occasionally uses it at my request when I’m driving us somewhere together. They forced me to activate a Sprint.com account which neither they or I could then access. They then gave me a ” ONE TIME ” credit on my bill and said they blocked features on my account so ” YOU WILL NO BE ABLE TO DO THIS TO SPRINT AGAIN ” in their words. I did not “DO” anything to Sprint and with the conclusion of this email, I now have over 2 1/2 hours and $7 in gasoline in this matter.
I want to speak with someone at the main offices. My bill is due on the 9th. and I will not pay it till I speak with someone in power. If you report me late on my bill and it affects my excellent credit rating, there will be legal action taken.
If necessary, I will contact the Better Business Bureau, the FCC, the Public Utilities Commission and, my Lawyer. I will then contact the local and state newspapers and consumer action people. This has become an issue of honor, honesty and, ethics.
I would appreciate someone with authority contacting me ASAP.

I hate sprint!!! This morning i woke up with out phone service- After being hung up on by 3 non english speaking reps- i spoke a rep that told me they disconnected my service because they pro rated charges on my account ( Which i was completly un aware of - and wasnt told to me by the rep when i upgraded)- So insted i get stuck with paying two bills! Make a note- if you ever change your plan, do it on the fourteenth. Needless to say- i am so livid- I have also had mysterious callsto cuba and jamaica. Come on Sprint! Stop ripping off your customers- I cant wait till my contract is up.
