Who Is Integretel, Inc. and Why Are They Billing Me For Charges On My Local Residential Phone Bill?
According to Integretel, Inc.’s website “Integretel provides a complete, end-to-end solution for telecommunications service providers seeking to outsource their billing support functions. Integretel’s service offerings include billing through the local telephone bill, direct branded invoicing, online billing, major credit card clearing and direct account debit together with an array of complementary services such as customer care, validation & fraud control, pre-pay account management and internet reporting.”
According to Integretel’s website “Integretel’s local exchange carrier (LEC) billing services enable its clients to bill their telecommunications products and services on a consumer’s local telephone bill. The company’s extensive billing and collection agreements cover all major LECs (commonly called the “baby bells”) and over 1,400 smaller, independent LECs throughout North America. These billing and collection agreements cover approximately 90% of business and residential consumers.”

I just got my verizon bill and their are charges on it from INFO SOURCE USA – integretel. who is this? what is going on?

In 2004 my then 10 year old son got a dialer virus on his computer. I quickly killed it, but not before it had dialed one 900 number at 2:00am. Integretel appended a $75 charge to my phone bill, offered to cut it in half if I paid up and claimed their virus was a “service”. My response was:
1. Offer to track down Ken Dawson and his partners in crime unless they made the whole charge go away.
2. Wrote a letter to Bell South (now AT&T) requesting that they not act as collection agents for Integretel.
3. Blocked all 900 numbers from all my phone lines.
4. Never again left an unattended computer plugged into a phone line.
Seemed to work – no more charges ever again from Integretel.

Our Verizon landline bill was charged by Integretel on behalf of Nationwide Voice Msg. Luckily we caught it right away. Since our phone bill/dsl bill is a flat fee through verizon I often don’t look at the bill immediately. Well thank goodness this month I did! Anyway, I called Verizon but it was 6:05pm and they close at 6:00pm. So then I called Integretel. I was told someone named Jason Taylor signed up for the Nationwide Voice Msg service through the website freemusiconnection.com. He received 101 free songs for signing up using an aol email address that Integretel will not disclose to me. He did use our phone number and address. So I ask Integretel “So anyone who knows my address and phone number can sign me up for services like this one?”
“Yes” replied the customer service representative. This is really outrageous, especially because my address and phone number is published so ANYONE could use it. UNBELIEVABLE. Tomorrow, first thing, I call Verizon. I think I will be pulling my landline, dsl and wireless accounts from Verizon and moving to Cable. I HAVE HAD IT!

INFO SOURCE USA – integrete billed my Verizon Account for what they called “Info Source Mthly fee”. I called Verizon. I told them I wanted “3rd party” billing banned on my account. They said the Telecopm Act of 1986 permits 3rd parties to bill for services through Verizon and other phone carriers and it will only be stopped if customer requests ban on 3rd party billing.

They billed me $20 in my Verizon bill shown as a collect call. I called Verizon and they told me they will sent back the charge to them but they told me to call the toll free number to make sure no membership is being subscribed. I called them and waited for 20 minutes then spoke to an operator. Basically I told them to leave me alone and I wil not pay a cent to them! The number that they are charging is an emergency phone inside an elevator, you idiot!

THEY BILLED ME TO AND I’M NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH THIS. THEY MUST OF GOT MY INFO FROM ANOTHER WEB SITE CALLED, http://WWW.WORLDWEBACCESS.COM BUT I DON’T REMEMBER BEING ON THAT CITE ETHER. IT’S ALL A BIG SCAM I GUESS VERIZON WILL JUST LET SOMEONE ADD A CHARGE TO THEIR BILL WITH OUT CHECKING IT OUT THANKS VERIZON FOR BEING AN OUTLET FOR THE OUTLAWS.

What a surprise, opened up my Verizon bill to findBilling for the Billing Resource Enhanced Long Dist. by Integretel / never heard of nor changed my LD Carrier / & verifyed my LD Carrier & is not this company – what gives ???

My elderly mother was signed up for VM on her home phone back in Dec 08 and has been getting billed for $13 a month until we noticed it and began calling integretel in august. someone used her number on eztracks to get $1000 in coupons and stuck mom with verison landline voicemail she didn’t authorize. what a bunch of dirt bags.

We were charged for bogus website services by Integretel in Orange, N.J. No one would give us their phone number. It added up to about $37 each month and if you didn’t read your bill carefully you would just pay it.

Received a charge on my verizon phone bill for $14.99 – I never approved this charge or service. They claim I’ll get the money back within 2 billing cycles!

Integietel charged $18.83 on my Feb phone bill, and $17.23 in March. I called Qwest and they reversed the charges. I called the number above and was transferred to another number 877-375-1524. I told them that Qwest had reversed their bill and they told me about an additional $17.23 and issued a credit for that.

I just discovered that I had been charged for VM (voicemail?) services from Integretel. I never authorized these charges, and whoever signed up for this service used an email address that I discontinued several years ago. A helpful Verizon customer service agent actually called my attention to these charges, and he issued a credit to my account immediately. What a scam this Integretel group represents!

I received my verizon bill today and there was a charge on it for $18.83 plus tax through integretel on behalf of Premium long distance which I never signed up for but they had all of info I’m not paying it they can just try and get it out of me.

I just called to cancel my DSL today. That’s when I noticed 7 months of Integretel charges totaling $73. Best part is: I don’t even have a phone hooked up in my house! I use their DSL but use cell phones for phone calls. How can Integretel be anything but a con?

I just looked at my bill because there was an additional $20.00 chg that has never been there before, I DID NOT AUTHORIZE IT, and do not have DSL hook up. This is utter BS that someone can just attach to my telephone and think they can charge me for it,,,,,unfortunately it is 2am and no-one is available BUT I will be calling Verizon and Integretel in the a.m and will not be authorizing payment for theses charges

Received a charge on my Verizon bill on my home phone for $40.00 from some place called WSW, Teleco, MS. I said, where in the heck is that and what is Integretel. I called them the next morning and said I never made such a call and want to get reimbursed and 900 numbers blocked! Never heard from them again!

I was billed 19.00 at 12 am when no one in my home is up lots of hassles contacting them and trying to get it stopped , I’ll see if they do what they promised.

Brilliant Digital Ent charged us a fee of $19.95 which was billed through our phone company (Verizon) on our phone bill. We did not authorize this company to charge our account. The phone company provided the phone number to resolve the matter as (800) 736-7500. This phone number belongs to Integretel. The phone number does not accept calls and gives the message that “All circuits are busy” when you try to call. I completed the online form, however I have not yet received confirmation that this matter is resolved. I plan to submit a complaint to the Btter Business Bureau against all three parties involved (Brilliant Digital Ent, Integretel, and Verizon). Brilliant is illegally charging my account. Integretel is facilitating this charge and not providing a method to resolve the issue, and Verizon is permitting this underhanded practice of allowing a third party to charge my account without obtaining my permission.

Received my phone bill with $18.83 in charges from Integretel. Billing number 1-800-736-8079 given to dispute the bill only provides a recording providing another 800 number for loan refinancing or talk line.

Last month Brilliant Digital Ent charged me a fee of $19.95 which was billed through Verizon phone bill. I did not authorise this company to charge phone account. Called 18004873857, got “all lines busy but leave message if you want” which I did. Then I called Verizon to dispute charge. Verizon noted the problem, removed the charge, and offered fraud-block(prevents 3rd party billing to phone acct). To date Brilliant Digital has not contacted me. Have to see how phone bill looks this month.

Rarely do I look at my landline phone bill statement but noticed Integretel and charges for “Itemized Calls”. When I click on the link to see the itemized calls it asks me for my pin. I’ve never requested a pin and of course you cannot do so using your online account. Not only will I dispute these charges but I am cancelling my land line. I suppose many people have cancelled their land lines because they have cell service, hence the reason these misc charges from phone companies who are finding ways to recoop their losses.
