I would like to start a lawsuit against an ex-employer due to non-payment of vacation time, commission, and also help companies who used their services and lost a lot of money. I know a few people contacted the EEOC and I heard they are ignoring these claims. I would like to start a lawsuit and how many employees would make a class action. Also can I help companies that used their services and lost money on fault of ex-employee. How can I get this company stopped before they stop businesses. Also alot of women would like to do a discrimination suit. My contact phone no is 847-293-3153. Also how can I get info on cases already against this employer?? YThank you

I am an employee of DCFS and have not received my end of the year comp time/overtime check for 2 years. They claim it was sent to the wrong address and never forward. Overtime hours have been held over until 2010 to deceive actual earnings for 2009. Overtime was approved and never entered prior to fiscal year pay out in July 2010. Excuses given by managment to hold overtime or deny are falisified. Managment claims notes don't reflect work completed. Notes have been entered prior to denial. Another way to stop payment. The state is in a financial hardship but its no excuse to use and abuse employee's. The Rockford DCFS Office has 7 out 27 investigators working, carrying 5 x the caseloads. Who does the OIG/DCFS beleive is doing the work? Employees are being abused like our children and no one cares.

I heard there was a class action law suit for the employees at a place i used to work at. I never heard about it so did not receive the benefits. The reason for the suit was that i worked at a residential home and school for developmentally disabled teens and after our eight our shift we had to sleep overnight there without pay in order to be available to the kids that got up in the night. Can I still collect the benefits the others received?

I work at a boys' shelter contracted by DCFS (Department of Children and Families Services). I clean up after these boys(age 16-20), transport them to school and other appointments, and monitor them. I have never received overtime pay. Is this legal?

My question is reguarding my employer demanding that I monitor my e-mail while I am on-call. I belive this is a gross invastion of my personal time as they are demanding I check it on an almost constant basis.

Please advise.
Thanks,
Alan Samargin
